When I mentioned that their website suggests otherwise and asked if she could verify with someone, she placed me on hold and returned asking for my name, company, and whether I was a third party. I explained that before providing all of my information, I just wanted confirmation that Ranck actually performs the service. Instead of answering the question, she insisted the answer was contingent on those details. I asked whether those questions had any bearing on whether the company offers the service at all, and she again stated that the answer depended on who I was. As someone calling about what could have been a significant commercial project, I found the interaction frustrating and unwelcoming. A simple, "Let me check and confirm whether we offer that service," would have gone a long way. I ended up thanking her for her time and chose to not pursue the conversation any further the whole experience was just very distasteful.
