They are sometimes open so you can look around inside, but when we were there we got in the doorway and were told they were closing. I noticed that the welcome sign they had with "welcome" in different foreign languages translated the word to "have a nice day" for American English, which made me laugh. I'm American, and we don't say "have a nice day" when we greet people, we say it when they are leaving, for goodbye. And it's only really used in a public context, like when you are in a grocery store the cashier might say it to you as you leave. Anyway, the town hall is off the New Brighton promenade, so if you are spending the day at the seaside, you only need walk about a mile and half down the promenade to come to
