This is very nice for Yazoo City, they usually have casual restaurants, but this restaurant is a little more upscale. We had the nicest waitress, and very good food. We had a salad first, it was incredible! The steaks, where do I start? They are juicy, tender, perfectly seasoned, bathed in deliciousness! They redid the restaurant, it's much nicer now. Come for the steak. Come back for the onion rings! First trip to Ribeyes and it was delicious. We started with the onion rings which were large, fresh, perfectly battered and super crispy. Add to that some homemade comeback dressing and they were gone in a matter of minutes. For entrees, my husband and I both ordered steaks. (Clearly, the place IS named after a cut of meat). My husband's 16 Oz ribeye was perfectly cooked, juicy, with a great marinated flavor. No peppercorn sauce needed on these steaks! To call this place a steakhouse would be at best a stretch...a dive bar that serves overpriced steak is a better description. For a place like this to have steak dinner prices running from mid $20s to low $30s is ridiculous. I was traveling alone so I sat in the bar area. Even as a smoker I thought the bar area reeked from old cigarette smoke...it's now a non-smoking establishment. The one plus...the bartender was very friendly. read more

Great place with excellent service. I was in town for work last month and ate here three nights in a row. The fillet is awesome and I had it every night.....boring I know, but if it works it works in my book. Ate there with my two sons. They split the cowboy Ribeye 22oz Prime Ribeye. I ate the 12 oz Ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection. Had a great char on the outside. Both steaks were to seasoned perfectly. Little pricey, but worth the money. read more

I like big, bold flavor a and that is exactly what I found at Ribeye's! The 12 ounce ribeye looked to be more on the order of 14-16 ounces to me. It was marinated and grilled exactly the way I ordered it...and it tasted like something that I would cook for myself. The medium-sized baked potato basically doubled in size after adding the condiments. As others have said, the decor is a bit of a strange mix of casual and formal. But the beer is cold and the place is quiet enough to have a conversation while you eat. If you want fine dining, you should probably drive on to Madison, but if you want to eat in Yazoo City, this is easily the best food in town. read more
