The office staff REFUSED to fill it out and expected ME to fill it out. I can't for I was NOT his Neurologist. He later passed. Then my mom had a few issues and was admitted to Baylor Waxahachie (for various reasons) and had a different Neurologist. This clinic tried to get her to go to them (I suspect it was secondary to a Neurology consult). I THOUGHT I had everything closed out with this POS clinic. Mom died on July 8 after a blood draw and I had to perform CPR on her until EMS arrived. We (family and friends) were finally able to place her to rest on Saturday (1 August). To my ASTONISHMENT I received an automated "Happy Birthday" call from this clinic (Yes 3 August is her birthday)! I called and FINALLY was able to speak with the office manager (yes a bit pissed but no profanity from me; call was recorded by me) The office manager hung up on me!!! If you can by ANY means possible GO TO ANOTHER NEUROLOGIST AND save yourself the headache hassle and frustration.

Apart from sending g my prescription to the wrong pharmacy a few times, and the latest being they sent the wrong prescription to be filled. A prescription that had very bad side effects. Other than that and not being able to try a different prescription as one I am on is not working like it did at first, I suppose a 2 out of 5 is appropriate. Maybe 1.5 might be more accurate

The staff shows a genuine investment in the people who come there for help. They include family in the process to make sure that everyone is on the same page with the proper treatment. Where other places gave up on treatment if it wasn't working, Solstice persists until they can find a break through and then they keep going. There is always someone available to give us information when we need it. This has been a big problem with other places. The residential program is top notch. I highly recommend.

The groups are wonderful, and you will learn so much that helps you in the outside world and in everyday life. If there is one thing I want people to know, it's that the staff, program aides, and case managers truly care. They make you feel safe and are very easy to talk to. One of the aides, Lasey, goes above and beyond. She doesn't leave until she knows you're okay and consistently checks on you. She has a calming presence and helps clients who are really struggling find peace and comfort. Can't say enough about Ms. Kara is the person who runs the show. She may sit at the front desk, but she will also become one of your biggest advocates. When she tells you she cares about you or says, "I got you," she truly means it. She wants you to succeed and move forward into a better life. I remember showing up one day, and she told me how pretty I looked and that she was proud of me. She was proud of me and then wrapped me in one of her giant Kara hugs. Even though I mentioned two people specifically, all of the staff are caring and supportive. They won't let you feel sorry for yourself, but they will help you recognize the direction you need to go and encourage you every step of the way. This place and its staff truly helped save me from my depression. Ms. Kara says this isn't your first home, but your second home, and that really reflects how they make you feel. They also offer TMS, and for me it has been a complete game changer. If you are considering getting help for yourself or a loved one, make the call and take that step. I can't fully express what this place has meant to me. Even my family felt encouraged and reassured when they had to leave me there, knowing I was in caring hands.

Prescribed her a generic antibiotic for 10 days and told me to bring her back if it wasn't resolved. I called today, the receptionist told me that this would count as a new evaluation since it had been 10 days. She told me that if I would have had to come in sooner they could have done an evaluation if it hadn't resolved. I argued that she was still on the antibiotic and was told to bring her back after she had finished her course of treatment. The cost of each evaluation is $170. So I would be out of pocket $340, so they can prescribe a new prescription. The healthcare system is so broken! Consider going elsewhere for your medical needs!

I'd been struggling with…read moredepression and anxiety since I was 15, and now at 20 the consequences of these conditions were having a disastrous affect on my school performance. I went to this doctor because I needed help. I felt like an outsider looking in, trying but failing to be a Human Normal. I hated myself with fury and fire. And I didn't want to want to die, but I certainly longed for an eternal reprieve from the pain. So I went to a doctor. I was in school in Brooklyn but grew up in Texas, and as I was home for the holidays, I started seeing Dr. Alloju. I didn't know the far-reaching and indelible mark this would leave on my life, changing the course completely. I was a bright kid. I read constantly. A bit of a nerd. A writing major. I wanted to write plays and movies. But here's what happened instead: After talking to me for 45 minutes and barely listening, this woman diagnosed me as having Bipolar II Disorder. I wasn't that upset about it because I thought, well maybe she's right and maybe she can help me. Over the course of the next year, culminating in a near-death experience, I was put on these medications concurrently: Lamictal 400mg, Seroquel 350mg, Klonopin 2mg twice daily, and to cap it all off, Geodon 80mg. This is enough medication to sedate an obese elephant. I was 20 years old, 5'2 and 107 lbs. I had to drop out of college because I almost died from this demented drug cocktail. That was a long time ago and I'm still angry. I'm still angry that it took me 10 more years before I was properly diagnosed as ADHD and on the autism spectrum. I didn't need to be on those drugs. I just didn't. When I told her they weren't working, she'd just increase the dosages. Once, during a phone session, she said I sounded drunk and went a step further to label me as an alcoholic. I didn't really drink at the time; my words were slurred because of the sedating medication. The irony, of course, is that Dr. Alloju has multiple DUIs and was on some sort of probation while treating me. I only have flashbulb memories from an entire year of my life. Apparently I almost died from an overdose of these medications. It took many years to try and get my life back from this monster. This is all to say, this woman will destroy your mind, body, and spirit. And she almost ended my life. What she did to me was criminal. Not just malpractice, although it was also that, but it was a deeply immoral negligence and breach of trust. At least if she *had* killed me she might not be practicing to this day. Stay. Away.
