PT Professional provides outstanding care with one-on-one attention. Prior to going to PT Professionals I had been going to a different physical therapy group on Merritt Island. PT Professionals is so superior to this other group. I have been treated by several of the therapist and all have been very professional and skilled. Normally Chardae is my therapist. She is very caring and knowledgeable therapist and I always feel much better after a session. She is extremely knowledgeable of the various physical therapy techniques. I most recently have been treated after surgery on my shoulder. PT treatment started the day after the surgery. She has me perform various exercises to strengthen the shoulder. She manipulates the shoulder to allow for more range of motion. My favorite acitivity is when she massages the shoulder. It feels so amazing. She knows just what to do to make the shoulder feel better. She is a very skilled and professional therapist. While having treatment I have watched while therapist provide other patients therapy. They customize the treatment around the patients problems and abilities. Over time I have seen these other patients continually improve. About two weeks ago, I tore my latissimus dorsi muscle thanks to a hard, sudden lurch while riding on the 1 train. The pain on the left side of my back was unbelievable, so much so that I had trouble even breathing because of the body movement it involved. After a week of recovery which included muscle relaxants, I had to go back to work. Immediately, the pain was incapacitating. I asked Dr. Suzanne McBride if she could see me (stat!), and she gave me a therapeutic massage which also included a network treatment and reflexology work. When I entered the office I could barely walk and, amazingly, I have been 99% pain free for almost a week since seeing her. In addition to the skill and beautiful intention which is abundant in her network chiropractic practice, Suzanne is also a trained (and gifted) massage therapist, and she studied reflexology in China. She listened when I was having a hard time mentally and pushed me physically to recovery. She'd often have to stop and remind me that I was only XX days/weeks post surgery. Very hard to be patient. This surgery is the hardest thing I've had to endure, physically and mentally, in a long time. She was amazing, patient, caring, VERY knowledgeable of the body, she does not cut you any slack (which I loved), and always had some funny story to share. :) Not all Physical Therapy is created equal... but I can assure you I received the best care here!

Felt they were efficient, knew what I needed and gave me a good start on my road to recovery. Fortunately I had great insurance at the time and my visits were covered. Fast forward to now (Feb. 2016) and I needed some more PT per my ortho surgeon to help strengthen my right hip to help with some pain management. There is now a new registered PT there, very nice and knowledgeable, but I'm having a problem with my insurance. My insurance company tells me one thing about my coverage and the office is getting a different answer from Florida Blue, which ends up having me pay an $85.00 copay for each visit which I could afford but do not feel is necessarily correct per my Florida Blue contact. Don't see any resolution here so may have to change to another PT, but they are so busy I don't think they really care one way or another...
