Then, blamed my husband for needing the appointment because he needed to switch to the other knee as the first surgery due to injury. Enough is enough, Dr. Perry seems like a good guy and probably a decent surgeon, but he's accountable for his disgraceful, incompetent, rude staff and I will shout my disgust from the rooftops- don't go to this surgeon if you want to be treated in a timely, respectful manner.

Everyone in the room was sitting up because there was a fight and screaming going on outside. One woman was shaking and crying. Being bipolar isn't a cakewalk, but this was the worst facility I have been a patient in in my entire life. The staff threatened patients with "zeroing them out" from their points, fights continuously broke out, and it was close to impossible to speak to a staff member. Brevard County can surely do better than this. I live in fear that I will ever have another episode and have to go back. It was literal hell.

She tells you the options after thoroughly checking the area of issue (as she did with me for my back). She tries to avoid surgery because once that's done, naturally you can't undo it. She does not rush the appointment & she listens to you. She makes sure you & she are on the same page. Last note: You do have to be referred to her from your provider.
