My high level of fitness tends to be undermined at times by my overexertion. I first came to Dr Veech with a painful psoas muscle spasm that another chiropractor was unable to resolve. I'd had the problem treated successfully in the past by other practitioners, and knew what to expect. Dr Veech was able to resolve it in one visit. His treatments start with a variety of ART (Active Release Technique) muscle manipulations with active patient participation before any traditional chiropractic adjustments are discussed. The entirety of each long visit involves him working with you instead of slipping SOT blocks under you or adjusting your neck without warm up and running off to another patient. Dr Veech has also advised me about effective stretching and exercises, for which I'm grateful.

In my experience they build a custom routine for you and encourage a positive outcome and realistic timeframes for when that may occur. Front desk is a little to check you in and book appointments but they are helpful once they are able to assist you. For only two people working the front desk, they seem to have a lot on their plate between patients calling, patients coming in and out and dealing with insurance details. The building is self is under construction at the elevator bank section as of April 2018 so may want to buffer and extra 5 minutes Incase the elevator doesn't stop and keeps going to the top floor and then opens on the way back down. Probably one of the best chiropractors not only in New York but across the entire country!…read more For the last 2.5 years, I was suffering with severe cervical spine issues that gave me non stop dizziness symptoms as well as a slew of other conditions. It got so bad, that I could not function at work and essentially my business failed because of my health. I heard great things about the gonstead chiropractor method and Dr. Greenspan was literally just one of two in the entire NYC area. I figured I'd give it a shot and let me tell you something...... I'm GLAD I did.....He is incredibly thorough, not to mention he has an amazing sense of humor which really puts you at ease......he is incredibly careful and probably knows his trade better than the guru's that have schooled him. Because I'm more of a science-based guy and appreciate physiology, he has no problem talking "shop" if you're into that type of stuff, which to me is very important. I explained to him how I got my injuries and basically what my lifestyle is like. (I used to be a very active, non competitive, powerlifter which is what caused my condition). He explained to me that at a minimum, x-rays are necessary for safety, and so he can see what's going on in there and that MRIs would be even better. The great thing is he does the x-rays right there for you, and I had an MRI scheduled a week later with NYU hospital. In case you're new to chiropractors or simply scared, essentially what they do is they put everything back in alignment.....this allows blood to flow properly throughout your body, and thus, your brain stem and spinal cord can then begin to "communicate" the way they were meant to..... that's when all the healing brings! Because all my nerves around my herniated discs (c5 and c6) were so compressed, it was cutting off blood supply and oxygen to my brain, thus making me incredibly dizzy every moment of the day. Once he put everything back in alignment, I started to feel like my normal self again! It was truly amazing and if I did believe in a God, I would say Dr. Greenspan has the hands of God! After just one single session, my dizziness and neck pain as well as many other elements subsided by at least 60%! At that point I was sold and I began seeing him anywhere between one to two weeks for a few months. I am literally a different man and I'm able to function again thanks to his talented hands and skill set. Though he does not accept many insurances and his rates may appear a bit steep, you truly get what you pay for with this chiropractor ( I had seen others in the past for different injuries who I've done absolutely nothing for me..... it's currently addressing those other issues for me as well and I have been receiving great relief!) There have been MANY times where I was in such a bad state physically, (and after his normal) hours, and he still took time out of his own personal schedule and even on days he was off, to adjust me and get me back up and running that same day! This sort of patient care is very rarely found in this day and age so let me tell you something... When I tell you I found a diamond in the rough that is actually concerned with my well being and not just interested in my money, and is extremely qualified, I truly mean it! I only wish I saw him earlier so I didn't have to suffer needlessly. I now see him usually once a month just for a quick tune-up because I am back in the gym and weight lifting again thanks to him! Just a note for those on a tight time deadline....make sure to ask if there will be a wait as the times I picked to come, there is often a long wait. They are understaffed for the quality of service that they provide.
