I came to Dr. Pashayan for a TMJ issue after dealing with severe jaw pain for a week. My jaw was locking, popping, and I couldn't eat solid foods. I'm 27 years old and had never experienced lockjaw before, so I was absolutely terrified and had no idea what to do. I kept calling multiple doctors, and they all told me to see a TMJ specialist or an oral surgeon--treatments that would have been very invasive. Finally, I called my dentist, who actually said that a chiropractor was the best place to go. That's when I decided to see Dr. Pashayan, who has been aligning my mom's and my back for years. If I could give Dr. Pashayan ZERO stars I would. STEER CLEAR of this Dr unless you want to wind up in the Emergency Room! He may be practicing 40 years, but he's quite clueless especially if you have multiple issues going on. BEWARE! He does more damage to your body than good; my neck and spinal cord is in excrutitaing pain that I can't even turn my neck to the left. Instead of realigning me, he MISALIGNED me and who knows what else that the MRI's will show! I went to him twice and wound up in A LOT more pain that both a young, inexperienced girl Victoria used a heavy duty "massager" on my back and neck which I was informed SHOULD NOT be used! ALso, she's clueless on how to put the pads for the Tens machine on your back and randomly just puts them on quickly, so she can run back to sitting behind the desk on her phone. Also, Dr. Pashayan just randomly cracked and popped my neck and back without bothering to look at reports, MRI's, X-rays; all which I had. Of course not because that takes time!!! Who ever heard of a chiropractor adjusting you before taking X-rays to see what's going on? After seeing an orthopedic last week who was appalled after taking X-rays of my neck and back/spine, this week I'll be going for MRI's. Then it will be ALL turned over to my attorney! Hopefully, NCCIH will intervene IMMEDIATELY to avoid anyone else from going through the agony I'm in since last Monday due to Dr. Pashayan's medical negligence! The best is when he said that the insurance company pays him $ 2 per visit, meanwhile he SCAMMED them billing several hundred and getting paid significantly more than $ 2 a visit. I'll contact the insurance company and discuss Dr. Pashayan's FRAUD in billing them claiming all sorts of things NOT DONE! TOTAL JOKE THAT WHOLE OFFICE! read more
