A nice park that serves its community and visitors well. The park is a decent size and offers a lot of tranquility and is a great getaway when civilization starts pushing your peace from all sides. I recommend here.

Great area to walk/run, crossfit, or just play with the kids. I've been going here on Sunday mornings (0730), and it's pretty quiet. It starts getting a bit busier as I leave. I see dog walkers here, and there are scooper bags available - dog friendly. The sidewalks/walking path are always kept clean, and run all through the park. The park itself is a small one, so if you are wanting to exclusively run, these paths are probably not for you. However, this park lies within The Commons, and there are double sidewalks that run throughout the entire community, so you could easily park your car at this park, have a nice quiet place to stretch, and then get your run on! While I'm here for just some morning exercise, I do see that there is a nice playground area for kids, and like the rest of the park it always appears to be clean. Richard Ray All American Park is a nice place for the athlete or family.

Look at the beautiful water fountain with huge rocks around it.

I live right down the street from this place it's always kept up looking brand new as much as it could be anyway it's always very clean never trash all over the place always good baseball games going on night and day depending on the day is even men's leagues they have softball games that are grade to watch or even a good place just to walk around the whole park for a good exercise walk but I can't emphasize enough how a place like this helps the community I think it's a very beautiful place I just can't emphasize how clean they keep it and it's great that there is a place like this it kind of keeps your spirit alive weather be watching games or playing games really good size they really put a lot of time and keeping it up check it out sometime go watch a game or two

Richard Ray Park is a pretty big park. People think it only consists of the little playground and picnics area across from the recreation center but it also extends across the road. If you drive further down you will find the tennis court, a challenge course, baseball fields, basketball court, volleyball court and skating ramp, along with another children's play ground behind the recreation center.

Still one of the best places for summer for the kiddoes. And lately painted rocks have been showing up all over. My daughter dpends more time walking around looking for rocks than even playing in the park.

    Little Library @the park.

My 5 star rating is based on the parks and family facilities in the city. The best park I have found in the area. It is close to the main commercial area of Jacksonville so it is convenient. Bathroom facilities. Open grass area to roam. Lots of families. Away from the parking lot so no pass through foot traffic. Clean and maintained.

Richard Ray All American Park contains 5 PokéStops and 1 gym. A second gym is available directly outside of the park as well.

My girls a had a ton of fun but didn't even sniff the entire Park, it's so big. It's fenced in and safe, but there is not a large and small dogs section. I don't see that as an issue, I'd like the opportunity for my dogs to meet smaller dogs and learn how to play with them appropriately. There are fun obstacles to train on but there are hardly ever other dogs there. Maybe I'm just going at the "wrong time" but it's usually empty. Lots of puddles and some mud if it has rained recently, but I brought a towel and that was no issue. Gives your dog a place to get a drink!

Manners are taught, yes even to dogs. It is just one large rectangle. Dog parks are supposed to have paths, ponds maybe... And be ALOT bigger than this. Don't go here after it rains, either. Pathetically muddy, you won't be clean either. -two weeks later, we try to give it a try again. Same thing just happened. I walked in and got a completely muddy shirt from the dogs jumping on me. Owners had no control. We definitely won't be back.

Given the relative dearth of dog parks in the area, this is such a welcomed feature for this side of town, saving many folks the drive to the Greenville Off Leash Dog Area. What I have heard others say about Ayden's Dog Park - and what I have witnessed myself - is the quality of the turf. The ground is hard and the grass is thick and covered, making it a nice and relatively clean place for dogs to run around and play, even after there's been some rain. My dog and I really enjoyed it here when we came to visit from Greenville, though the only downside (or not? depending...) is that I have never seen another dog there (yet). I do not think it has grown in popularity such that you can expect another playmate at all times. Sometimes, that is good, though, leaving more room for you to play with your fur baby!

There are two dog runs, both seem about the same size. Had a great time today playing with my very active dog! It makes for a nice change from the yard and he got to do a ton of sniffing. They have bags available for picking up dog doo and trash cans to dispose of it, and when it isn't winter it looks like they have water available (as well as restrooms in a short walking distance, also closed in winter). Note that it might not be perfect for those who want to throw frizbees or shoot balls out as far as they can; the runs aren't very big. A large dog can still run, just not for very long unless it wants to do a bunch of cornering. If you have an adopted greyhound, it would be too small for a safe full-speed run (though still way better than nothing).

I was looking for a place for my daughter to get the energy out and, with good reviews, headed toward Riverwalk Park. It just so happened to be their Christmas market and fair - with face painting, vendors, special treats and games. My little one could have cared less about the aforementioned happenings. She cares about playgrounds and this park had one of the best we've seen. It was crawling with kids, so even better for entertainment! She played for hours. There was plenty of space, nooks and crannies for kids to run and do their own thing. The equipment all looked in good repair and the park was very clean. Everything is surrounded by mature trees so the playground was shaded during our visit. As lunch approached, we walked over to the water for some calm & relaxation. There are a couple of boat ramps, though I believe I was there at low-tide as one looked inaccessible. There were also a couple of swings to sit and look out over the water. I noted a walking trail as we were leaving and would certainly return to see the rest of the park. I was very impressed with my first visit here.
