Dogs need there space not to be in the middle of an active field with small dogs, ppl, children. That's a bad connection. The trainers bring dogs that have no control of their senses to a family park in an open space. Park department should not allow this. My dad trained German shepherd , Doberman and he trained them indoor until they were well trained and obedience. If they continue to get complains the park department may listen. I don't know why they are not investigating yet. I would hate to have find another park for my pup because of safety.

My girls a had a ton of fun but didn't even sniff the entire Park, it's so big. It's fenced in and safe, but there is not a large and small dogs section. I don't see that as an issue, I'd like the opportunity for my dogs to meet smaller dogs and learn how to play with them appropriately. There are fun obstacles to train on but there are hardly ever other dogs there. Maybe I'm just going at the "wrong time" but it's usually empty. Lots of puddles and some mud if it has rained recently, but I brought a towel and that was no issue. Gives your dog a place to get a drink!

Manners are taught, yes even to dogs. It is just one large rectangle. Dog parks are supposed to have paths, ponds maybe... And be ALOT bigger than this. Don't go here after it rains, either. Pathetically muddy, you won't be clean either. -two weeks later, we try to give it a try again. Same thing just happened. I walked in and got a completely muddy shirt from the dogs jumping on me. Owners had no control. We definitely won't be back.

There is some fixed fitness equipment and some swing sets. The covered picnic shelter is large enough for four picnic tables and includes grills. There are also picnic tables around the rest of the park. A separate entrance to a dog park that includes two fences at the entrance for proper unleashed play. Though the fence around the park is only three feet high (one meter) so keep an eye on your dog if they're capable of jumping something like that. Let likely for children to hop the fence, but yes the entire park is surrounded to keep the little ones from possibly wandering off. I was looking for a place for my daughter to get the energy out and, with good reviews, headed toward Riverwalk Park. It just so happened to be their Christmas market and fair - with face painting, vendors, special treats and games. My little one could have cared less about the aforementioned happenings. She cares about playgrounds and this park had one of the best we've seen. It was crawling with kids, so even better for entertainment! She played for hours. There was plenty of space, nooks and crannies for kids to run and do their own thing. The equipment all looked in good repair and the park was very clean. Everything is surrounded by mature trees so the playground was shaded during our visit. As lunch approached, we walked over to the water for some calm & relaxation. There are a couple of boat ramps, though I believe I was there at low-tide as one looked inaccessible. There were also a couple of swings to sit and look out over the water. I noted a walking trail as we were leaving and would certainly return to see the rest of the park. I was very impressed with my first visit here.

They've got a skate park, dog park, 1 mile paved walking…read moreloop, soccer and baseball fields, basketball courts, picnic tables, a decent size pond filled with turtles and geese, tennis courts, pull up bars, and many benches with a view. The fact I lived in the area for over a year before checking this place out, severely disappoints me. It's beautiful! The loop has become a frequent running spot for me due to it's perfect one mile length and 90% sun to head ratio, along the way. It's always nice to have a breathe of fresh air, classy water features, and no lack of parking when pulling up to enjoy it all. Pretty much everywhere I've ever lived, the parks would not keep the nets on the soccer goal posts in fear someone would steal them or the weather would destroy them quickly. I am in positive shock each day when I arrive to see the nets still on all the goal posts, sandbags holding the bases, and knots tied tight - just like the pros! These soccer fields (located towards the backside of the park) are a casual, consistent futbol player's dream. I have to give props to the Ogden Parks & Rec for always keeping the premises in top notch condition. The trash cans are constantly emptied. Grass never seems to get anywhere close to out of hand. Tennis courts are swept and schedules are well organized. The goose and duck poops disappear almost as quick as they happened. And there's always someone riding around the area willing to help. The park is open from 8 am to 10 pm, daily. The skate park is only open 8 am to sunset, daily. The staff will lock all entry gates when closed. The dog park is an off-leash, fenced off dirt area, open from 8 am to 10pm. The park is available for hosting large events with an advanced request/payment. One event they've hosted annually here is the Food Truck Rodeo. Looking forward to attending other events in the future.

Pretty much everything. I did get a little bit of a walk on the walking trail. There is more than enough parking here and easy access from the roadway. Fine for the littles running and playing in the water, but a bit brutal for those of us just monitoring on the side. Some even resorted to just staying in their cars and watching from the parking lot just outside the fence/splash pad area. According to their website it is open through September. A great *free* summer activity. Restrooms are located nearby too which was convenient. The park also offers playgrounds, walking trails, sports courts, and picnic shelter. My daughter had a blast at both the splash pad and playground and that was the goal!
