My photography session was amazing. I am an actress and have had several "big name" photographs take my headshots in the past, but I was getting tired of the same old thing and wanted to try something new. With the amazing prices I must admit, I was very skeptical and figured they would come out mediocre at best. But boy, was I proved wrong!! I had already seen some of of the great work that Richard had done previously so I did have something, that I envisioned and hoped he would do for me. So I went in there, told the hair and make up artists what type of look I wanted and didnt want and they achieved it without a doubt. I had previously told Richard what kind of look and feel I wanted in my photos and he went out of his way to make that happen. I got my first look at the shots in 24 hours after the session and I loved them. He was able to capture moments that have not been captured for me before. He has gotten beautiful angles of me that have never been photographed before either. I am so impressed with the work I have seen this far. In fact I have already told several friends about him who have been looking for a photographer of this talent and am already thinking of what shots I would like to do next with him. If you are looking for someone with a great personality, someone who executes exactly what you want (even for someone who is picky like me), someone who can find pieces of you that you have never seen so beautiful on camera before, with prices that dont come close to what they should be for his line of work and talent then Richard is the person to go to. My wife was pregnant with our first child and we were looking for a photographer who could capture this beautiful moment without charging an arm and a leg and without having to sacrifice quality while doing so. Richard Rosario is that person! We met for a free in person consultation where he explained his packages and showed us his work. This was important to us because we now knew the quality of his work and we also got a chance to feel his overall vibe as a photographer. After the consultation, my wife and I decided to go with him and get a maternity/newborn photo shoot. The maternity session was fun and went really well. My wife felt really comfortable and sexy during the shoot. He knew how to make her laugh and captured beautiful shots. Richard was even able to make a canvass for my wife's babyshower within a short time's notice. My wife also went with a make-up artist that he recommended and she loved the end result. A few months passed and the baby was finally born. We gave him a call and he booked us within 2 weeks. This photo session went awesome as well. He had a terrific assistant whom made magic with the baby. She got him to sleep, to stay still and captured amazing shots. My wife and I recommend Richard Rosario 110% for various reasons. First of all, he is truly passionate about his work. Secondly, his packages provided all of the clothing for my wife's maternity shoot as well as all of the clothes and props for the baby. Experience: session is done at his house (living room/ indoor patio heated area/ backyard), very clean (covid sanitize certified), safe setting, professional area. My fiance doesn't usually smile for pics, but Richard created a fun but yet relaxed environment, I actually have a few pics of him cracking a smile #golden Location: Throggs Neck Bronx, conveniently located off the highway. So access/ location should not be an issue Price: There's several packages. I first went there for a maternity shoot but after speaking to Richard I decided on a package deal of maternity and newborn photos. 5 for maternity and 5 for newborn, but you can change it up if you want he's pretty flexible. Photos: You will first receive unedited photos via an app, you rate your pics (3-5 ), only your 5 star photos will be edited professionally. If you have any issues, you can text Richard and he will make the necessary changes to ensure your satisfaction. Communication is very quick. Clothing/ costumes: Everything was provided by Richard for my maternity and newborn shoot. Your responsibility is your makeup and hairstyle. That's awesome because some places regulate how many outfits you can use, Richard was very chill about the # costumes based on the amount of photos. Newborn: Richard' s assistant took our baby and she changed his wet diaper and fed him during the shoot. We did nothing during this period except to wait patiently for them to call us. OMG! Words can't explain how great and awesome Richard is, I did a 22 Birthday theme photoshoot this past Wednesday with him, from the moment I arrived the day of the shoot once he opened the door Richard and his assistant Kiera was soooo welcoming and warm . They introduced me to the makeup artist Victoria, Victoria was amazing and did my make up so well she exactly pin point of what type of look I wanted which was a rose gold make up look. Afterwards we got started with the shoot I started with my outfit #1 which was my glitter top and my tutu that I made , I started to get nervous because I was scare I was going to be horrible at taking pictures(posing) , but Richard walked me through everything and was teaching me ways to pose , Richard and Kiera made me feel super comfortable and we all just had a BLAST!! all together I had sooo much fun I didn't want it to end lol. I was able to take some picture also with another outfit which was a elegant long dress but Richard made the photo look so beautiful and classy and fun !! Which I was going for, they was very helpful through out the way and their energy was just bubbly. When we finished I was able to go through the photos and choose which one I wanted, it was so hard because they all look so great and I wanted to choose all of it lol. Was a super fun day with Richard and Kiera I definitely recommend him ! Worth every penny and time! Will be coming back soon to do another photo shoot with my family!!!! Having a baby is expensive but i wanted to spend a few bucks to memorialize the beauty of pregnancy and my baby's first few days.. i started looking for a photographer at around 34 wks and spoke with 2 other photographers before finding Richard. Those other photographers gave me cheaper quotes but i was sold on Richard there first time meeting him. His work is not only amazing but he made me feel comfortable in front of the camera and it shows in our prints. Also his team is incredible and at 4 days old, My sweetheart was in awesome hands with his baby specialist who even caught my princess smiling! He has connections to makeup and hair stylists for your shoot if you choose, and has tons of outfits for you to use and you're free to bring your own stuff too and personalize as you want. The other photographers i spoke to limited the amounts of photos they would shoot initially and then would charge separate fees for their time for the shoots, and then for certain prints you want. I got an awesome package from Richard with items i don't see other people doing including one of my photos on a throw pillow! I got canvases of my baby , a usb with all my pics, an awesome box with all my prints and fancy white gloves to use while showing them off so as not to dirty them up. OMG!!! The best experience ever, hands down. I first worked with Richard for my professional headshots and in that short 15 minutes he made so comfortable. I ended up with a lot of greats shots.  It was difficult to choose. I immediately started talking with him about doing a birthday shoot. I had a special one coming up and with us being in quarantine and having so many restrictions a birthday party was out of the question.  I toyed with the idea right down to the last minute. I was super nervous, but I had several conversations with Richard prior to the shoot where he discussed what I should expect and how to prep. I did the shoot on my birthday, and I must say it is a birthday I will remember forever. When I arrived on set that day Richard had his assistant, Makeeda there to help me with whatever I needed. And I mean whatever, whether it was deciding on which earrings to wear, shoes to go with certain outfits, a fan in addition to the Ac to keep me cool, and a beverage to ensure I remained hydrated. I felt like royalty. Richard talked me through the whole shoot and made sure I was relaxed every step of the way, needless to say, I got a tons of great shots to choose from.  Will I do this again? Being a woman is honestly so damn hard. There's so much we're exposed to and so much information we're fed that it's not easy to just feel good about yourself. After booking my boudoir shoot I was definitely nervous, my biggest fear was showing my big arms and shoulders but on the day of the shoot Richard definitely made me feel so comfortable about myself that I just let myself go and love the whole experience. I had no expectations how the pictures would turn out. I was on such a high from the photo shoot itself, and Richard telling me I looked beautiful, I didn't care once about my rolls or wrinkles or my chipped nails. I wanted to feel confident without having an expectation attached to this word, and Richard went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. It can seem difficult and daunting to fight and reach the point of pure happiness and confidence but Richard strongly advises to be kind to yourself and remember your worth. Richard Rosario Really Delivers! With Covid-19 looming over NYC this spring, what is a girl to do for her sweet 16?! With months passing and the dress getting tighter, we were really worried about getting photographs to commemorate the celebration, because pictures are all you really have left after the birthday!!! I have no regrets about choosing richard rosario. He offered a reasonably priced package that met all our needs, and he really delivered when the day came. His studio was clean, safe and accessible to the hairdresser, make-up artist and the environment was calm and relaxing. I have one daughter who despises taking pictures and he was able to make a relationship with her that allowed me to get pictures I could only dream of. After the shoot it was merely hours, I got the proofs and were able to see what pictures I wanted (which was all of them!) The photo quality was so crisp and clear.Very professional. We originally booked with Richard before the Covid pandemic happens so our session was put off for a couple of months however Richard's communication was top notch & always keep me posted throughout the entire process through out the months. He's great at communication & is very easy to work with as well as extremely personable. Upon our arrival for my family photo shoot we had scheduled, Richard was extremely friendly with amazing hospitality & walked us through the entire process making us super comfortable. Not to mention, my almost 2-year-old is not the most friendly toddler to strangers however she adapted to Richard instantly as he made her super comfortable & handing her over toys while singing kid friendly songs the entire shoot. His work is phenomenal & was honestly the greatest photoshoot we've ever had! His wife is a doll as well, she entertained my little one to capture some awesome images. I am beyond pleased with my experience and with the overall outcome of my photos! I was going through a tough situation where I wasn't so happy with myself and did not want any pictures, but after meeting Richard and seeing his work, I was immediately inspired and excited! I did my maternity shoot with Richard about a year ago. I am currently booked for a family shoot he is the best!!! When I booked Richard a year ago he was highly recommended by a few of my co-workers. I compared him with other photographers and his price blow my mind. Also the quality of his work is outstanding. I had so many great pictures that it was hard to only choose 10 for my final package. I contacted him about scheduling a newborn session and within 24 hours I received a phone call from him introducing himself and reviewing his credentials. Soon after I received an email with a gallery of his work as well as a price list with services. Prior to the shoot we discussed what style we were heading towards and he was very open to suggested poses and looks. I emailed him different photos that I was interested in replicating and he was extremely receptive. Due to special circumstances I needed a photographer that would be willing to travel. This is my third child and I've done photo shoots for all three but this was by far the best experience I have had. He takes his time with taking pictures. He gives you time to share the ideas you have and send it to him in advance so he is prepared to shoot what you want. Our session was 3 hours and I had the hardest time picking which pictures I wanted. I got my printed copies today and I am absolutely obsessed. The presentation of the photos was perfect and the picture quality was awesome. If your hesitant about price let in mind that you're not getting small regular pictures. They are framed with a thick border and boxed perfectly. I did the maternity shot with before and after pictures of not just me but my older kids and I have no complaints. I would recommend him to everyone. I can't wait to take family portraits yearly with him. I have not one bad thing to say. When my mother told me she wanted a photo shoot for her 60th birthday, Richard was the first person that came to mind. And as I expected, He did not disappoint !! It was arranged on such a short notice but Richard still accommodated us for the day we requested and I am so grateful for that. This shoot would not have been possible if he didn't squeeze us in. He made us feel at home and he took his time to make sure my mom was very comfortable. All the pictures were beautiful and difficult to choose, because we loved them all! I honestly don't know where to begin! This experience was absolutely amazing and super comfortable. This was my first time doing a maternity shoot and I didn't really know what to expect. I just knew what kind of pictures I wanted and how I wanted to feel. I wanted to feel powerful and irresistible which is kind of hard when you're pregnant, weak and tired lol. However Richard totally made me feel like I was a goddess. He was able to capture the passion that I wanted to show between my Fiance and I. He even hand delivered our final products instead of having us drive to the Bronx again. I wasn't quite prepared to pay the amount that I had paid (my choice because I increased the package) but I do totally believe it was worth it.
