The way that I define a good photographer is someone who understands their craft very well, who has a unique and very creative eye, who understands how to adapt to last-minute changes while shooting, and who is very professional (even with the most difficult clients). Furthermore, a good photographer is someone who knows how to make the person (or people) in front of the camera enjoy the experience of being photographed. Having said that, Real Depth of Field Photography is truly exceptional. I have worked with Claudio on various occasions (7 to be exact) and not only is he the elite professional, he has always managed to capture so many beautiful and precious memories from my events that will last a lifetime. I had the pleasure of doing my maternity shoot with Real Depth of Field two weeks ago and it was excellent from start to finish. Claudio offered exceptional customer service from the time I placed my first phone call to inquire about their service. He provided me with information on their available packages and offered me the chance to check out the studio the following day to see their work in action. I was sold!! Claudio corresponded with myself and my partner periodically leading up to the shoot to discuss our ideas and provide further insight on the process. Claudio's wife Merline assisted during the photo shoot and even took the time to purchase a dress I wanted to wear which was absolutely perfect. We took more shots than I anticipated and were able to make numerous outfit changes. They were patient with my slowed pace at 34 week weeks pregnant and were very helpful throughout the shoot. We received the photos on a USB and via e-mail pretty much immediately. The photos were outstanding and we were able to get a photo printed for our baby shower which was ready as promised three days prior to our event date. We did a slideshow of our maternity photos at the baby shower as well which our guests loved! Everyone complimented us on the quality and content of the photos. Where shall I start? I came to Claudio based on a great recommendation. Little did I know that once I walked out the studio I would absolutely swear off any other photographers for the rest of our lives because of how truly great they all are. We went in for my son's 1st birthday cake smash session. The initial email was thoroughly detailed and I loved that part. Claudio answered ALL my questions (and I had TONS). When we arrived we were instantly welcomed, and you just felt the good vibes in the studio. Claudio, his wife and sister in law were all so helpful and patient with my little man. We had 3 change of outfits for him and they took their time with it all, those with kids know it is not quick and easy to get them in and out of clothes quickly. When we were done we got to preview the pictures right then and there through their smart TV. The best thing is that I didn't have to wait a ridiculously amount of time because by early the next morning my proofs were ready! My husband and I were super pleased with it all that we made plans to have them for my son's birthday party and even future pregnancies! Claudio and his wife were amazing!! I went there for a maternity photoshoot around 32 weeks. We had an idea of what we wanted but not entirely sure and sent Claudio some examples. He gave us great guidance and completely exceeded our expectations! Claudio is extremely talented. The shots were fabulous, super artistic, he found the right angles, lighting, etc. that would be most flattering on me. I've never been so proud of how I looked in a photo. I was also blown away by their level of service. I was not very good at posing and they went our of their way to coach me and took many more shots than anticipated to make sure we captured the right moment/expression. Claudio's wife also made me feel super comfortable as many of the shots included a fair amount of bare skin, this was very important. Such an awesome experience!!! My husband & I left with the biggest smiles on our face! Claudio and his wife made it such a pleasure! The ambiance was dope, super urban. His wife was wonderful! Very interactive with our 1 year old to make sure we got every single smile out of her possible. They didn't rush us with our outfit changes and although we were 15 minutes late, they still gave us time for all our outfits (in fact they insisted.) they made us feel very welcome, almost like family. Claudio and Merline are wonderful. We chose to work with them for our newborn photo shoot after reviewing some of their work online. Merline was so gentle and patient with our newborn, we immediately felt comfortable and knew we would get some amazing pictures. They really pay attention to the details. Claudio took most of the pictures and he is just as particular as his wife! They were very accommodating and willing to spend however much time needed to make sure we got very special pictures. I have been a loyal customer to Claudio since my son was 1 years old. He has taken all of my son's birthday pictures (he is now three) and each experience has been unique and amazing. I love all of the pictures and he and his wife take their time working with my son because he can become easily distracted. Children grow up so fast and the last thing you want is to not have photos of your child's precious moments growing up. I was running late for my daughter's 5th birthday party and Merline was extremely prompt. She arrived at the event 15 minutes before it started, introduced herself to all the parents and kids and jumped right in. He told us how to pose, where to look, and what I really loved is that he always did a test shot to make sure that that photo was going to come out great!
