I'm not sure if John is just a really busy guy and some of his cases take the back burner or he's just another shady lawyer. When I first contacted John regarding my issue he seemed enthusiastic about helping me. He even offered a plan of how to deal with the issue. That all changed the minute I paid him the retainer fee. After that he was increasingly difficult to get in touch with. His plan that he first spoke of during our initial consultation seemed to have gone out the window. Instead, he just kept giving me solutions for how to handle the issue myself. His excuses ranged from being too busy to feeling like the situation would be better handled on my own. Once I received "sorry I was on vacation" after a week or more. Great. Turn on a vacation auto-responder, perhaps? When I attempted to share my dissatisfaction, my concerns were hand waved away or ignored. Worse, I felt like he added no value to the interaction.
