For years we had wanted to build a room over our garage and when we decided to go ahead, our neighbors complained strenuously to the HOA to block the project and hired an attorney to advance their case. The Board of Directors engaged their own attorney. We needed someone to protect our interests and make sure we were going to be fairly treated.
