I've met many wonderful, passionate, and hard-working teachers during my time here. The community is very supportive. The students are smart, kind, and curious about learning.

The teachers are amazing, he learned how to write from Ms. A better than any of his Jesuit buddies. He learned how to read, analyze and discuss rigorous primary sources. Loved Jones's passion for learning/humor. Loved Latin class and tested into Latin 2 at Jesuit. Learned to love music and read music through the band experience where he still plays with Jazz band on Tuesday nights. Participated in archery, soccer, CC, track, baseball, BB & VB. His VB experience was a springboard for his love and allowed him to make club VB as well as HS VB at Jesuit. His experience as a school ambassador gave him the confidence to communicate with a purpose and leadership. His inclusion in NJHS, class officer, yearbook, alter server, Veterans Day poetry competition, Wreaths Across America allowed him to have the confidence. You could not make a better sacrifice for your family. Find a way to do it!

I have been teaching math since 2001. This is the 5th school I have had the opportunity to teach…read moreat. The Einstein School is really an awesome school to be part of. The hardest part of being an educator is to teach a lesson in 55 mins to a group of 25-30 students, review their homework, monitor each student's individual progress, spend some quality time working with each of them to make sure they understand the material, come up with different strategies to reteach, monitor instruction to meet each student's individual need (i.e. special education, 504, OHI, ESL, etc.) and have time to get students prepared for their State of Texas Annual STAAR Assessments and/or EOCs (End of Course) Exams. What I love about teaching here, is that I have the freedom to teach. I can go back and reteach or come up with another assessment. I can get to know my students with no more than 8 students per class. We typically do not assign homework, so I am working side by side with students while they do the work. I don't have to worry about the State Assessments because they do not apply to the Einstein School. Last school year (2013-2014) in their 3rd year of operation, 18 Seniors Graduated and ALL 18 WERE ACCEPTED INTO COLLEGE. This school year (2015-2016) is our 5th year in operation and we are now around 100 students and growing. About 5 new students start this week (Jan 5-8). One of our Seniors this school year was accepted into Auburn University last month! If you have a child that just feels like they "don't fit in" or are "lost in the crowd of 30 students in a class" or "feel like their teachers don't help them or care", then visit our school. You can even attend classes for a day or so and just try it out without any pressure. If I was ever going to design my own school, it would be something like the Einstein School. Kids do learn in different styles. Not everyone learns the same way. We have to change the way we teach. JohnK Wright, V M.S. Small teacher ratio adds to the feel of school community. This will be my 17 year old son's third year, his twin loved the environment so much he is joining his brother for senior year!
