I found jugs of Ipswich Ale, Woodchuck Ciders by the bottle, and a good selection of seasonal pumpkin beers. Relegated to the "case of shame" was a small selection of things like Budweiser, Natty Light, and Miller. The emphasis on the beer selection here is "things you'll actually really WANT to drink while still sober." I'm beyond thrilled to find such a ready selection of beer and supplies for our home brewing, too. I don't think I have ever heard customers verbally confront each other in the store (doesn't mean it doesn't happen, I just have not witnessed it). It just seems to be a little more laidback than the corporate grocery stores. As a local business, I try to shop there and support them. They are a vital part of our community. We have a lot of people who want to walk or bike to get their groceries and they can here. Prices are reasonable. They could be obscene because of their size and location but they are not interested in going that route. That speaks volumes to the store owners and management. I'm a member of a local civic organization and we regularly ask them for their help with prizes for our fundraising etc. They really do an amazing job and give back to the community. I cannot imagine a reason why I wouldn't want to shop there other than I can't get everything there. The benefits outweigh that though. An added bonus is that you will be paying an actual clerk that will greet you and be nice throughout the process!!

By the way, they used to charge $25 for propane. Don't tell me inflation or the price of "gas" others have not changed.
