But inside is a delightful, bright space with tall built in shelving. They have a huge walk in beer cooler. As well as a separate cooler for more beer and wine. And for those of you who like to sample liquor before committing to buying a whole bottle. They have the best selection in mini bottles I've ever seen. Oh AND they're the only liquor store I know of that's close to me and open until 10pm even on week nights! The clerk was so nice and gave me suggestions for a white frizzante wine which I love to replace a wine that they don't carry. That was the only downfall, they don't carry the local Famiglia Meschini that I love so much. But it's very hard to find so I don't hold it against Ken & Norm's ;) I'm happy to support a great and well stocked local business. I will definitely be back!

While a bit industrial in look and layout, there is quite the selection of beer, wine, and spirits to choose from! It doesn't have a ton of variety (or at least not as much as a typical liquor store) but it does have the essentials (grey goose lol). It is an older store, smells like an older store and definitely lacks some cleanliness. Again, this is more a place of convenience than anything else. I have gone here a few times and those that work here are totally fine and do what they need to do to get the job done. I would never go out of my way to go to this liquor store but again, it works for the convenience factor!

It's an independent liquor store (a nice feature in today's Big Box retail world). Cedar Liquor is conveniently located at the corner of Cedar Ave & Old Shakopee Rd. (in "east" Bloomington). You can even park right at their front door - how convenient! They've been in business since the late-1960s. So, whether I'm buying the occasional expensive bottle of Scotch or an inexpensive 6-pack of Hamm's, I enjoy going to Cedar Liquor!

This is a great little shop tucked away in an unassuming strip mall. The beer selection is pretty good, including things such as hard cider. They also stock items for Asian cooking that you can't find at most Minnesota liquor stores, such as mirin (Japanese cooking wine) and authentic umeshu (100% plum wine). The owners are very friendly as well, often reminding customers that they have a 10% discount on Tuesdays. So far this is the only place in the Twin Cities I've found that stocks real mirin (United Noodles stocks no alcoholic ingredients, and a certain reputable wine/liquor store in Nordeast had no idea what I was talking about), so I will continue to patronize this shop after I leave the area.
