It's small but has a lot of the basic brand stores that are affordable. Otherwise it's a cute place to hang out.

Honestly I wasn't sure what to expect when coming here. I had come a few years ago but that's how memorable my trip was, however this time I was pleasantly surprised to see a toy store, anime store, video game store and media store here. There was plenty to look at aside from clothing. I am happy for that. Also, is that the only Chick Fil - A in a mall? I'd never seen one before. Parking staff harasses visitors with $250 fine when they pause to look for an entrance. If you are new to town, do not stop here. My friend tried to find a good entrance, pulled into a parking space in a lot in front of a closed store (maybe furniture warehouse?). Security RAN to the car, ask if it just stopped, said it was over a line and began writing a ticket. No wonder the store closed. If this is what the mall does for revenue -- ticketing new visitors getting their bearing and giving parking violations while stopped in an empty lot before they even leave their vehicle -- then you do NOT want to park and enter the mall. I feel sorry for all of the stores in the mall when security is scaring away potential customers rather than providing for safety. My friend will never return there. read more

I think I was spoiled with having been able to frequent the worlds largest open air mall (Ala Moana in Hawaii). This mall is a place to go really just walk around or kill time. They're currently in the midst of working on Dick's Sporting Goods so hopefully that'll help bring business. The lights in this mall flickers at times and that causes my head and eyes to hurt. This food court here isn't really all that great and that makes my (not-so) inner fat girl a sad panda. It's usually packed (even though this mall sucks, there really isn't many things to do here in Waco) and the food in most of the places are okay at best (Minus Greek Grill & Italia Express. Loooove them lol) There's also an Auntie Anne's on the opposite side of the mall that just reopened (delicious). My favorite places to go to are Game FX and Bath & Body Works. Games and clean smelly things. Yesss. There's so much space in this mall but so little to do. I honestly haven't been to a mall that is only 1 floor level. If you're into clothes, they have quite a few places to shop at (H&M, Dillard's, Buckle & other stores) They also have a Lunar Golf place that you and your family or date can go to. I've seen kids on field trips to this place, super cute. I wish I had more positive things to say about this place. I mean really, it could just be a matter of opinion (this is yelp lol). If you're in Waco and want something to do (even if it's just for a little while), stop by Richland Mall. Who knows, you may find someplace here that you'd enjoy. read more

Came in for flip flops, mall is small. I was able to find what I needed on my visit to Waco, but I also squeezed in a pedicure.

Absolutely horrific. My coworker and I decided to go in for a relaxing massage on our lunch break. Little did we know how intense and rough the massage was. Never did we see any signs about it being a deep tissue massage. It was 20 minutes of pain and discomfort. Stood up off the bed with an instant headache. My coworker was dizzy to the point where the worker asked if she was ok. Worst money ever spent. Would never recommend this place to anyone. After speaking to multiple people, surprisingly everyone had the same story and experience that we had. No longer dumbfounded as to why they're never busy. read more

A bit of a dying mall - probably in worst shape than Vista Ridge in Dallas. The Forever 21 closed down and became a F21 Red in the Central Texas Marketplace. There's an H&M to take its place though there is much much less fast fashion and more basics. Highlights at this mall are the Victoria's Secret & PINK, Dillard's, Francesca's, and the Sephora inside JCPenney. The items at Dillard's can get pretty discounted since there's so much less foot traffic. read more

Mall is decent enough. Just like most malls, same stores, it's pretty clean, food court is tiny but has a couple pretty solid options (unlike the mall in Temple, whose food options is horrid), strong security guard presence. The lunar golf option is cool. It isn't a bad place to spend a couple hours. Our rating goes down to a 3 star though because of an experience at one store: Shoe Dept. Oh, there are like 18 shoe stores in the mall, which is a little odd. Here is the review we left on the Shoe Dept page: 1 star for the large selection of shoe options. 0 star for the service. The lady who checked us out (I had two toddlers with me) barely said a word to me, including not even a "thank you" at the end of the purchase. She didn't say a word, just handed me the receipt. I think the only thing she said to us is "is this all?" Why? Because she was talking to a dude that she clearly wanted to date. How did their conversation start? As she was ringing up our purchase, she asked - no joke - the guy "are you under the influence today" and they laughed, he said no, she said she didn't believe him, etc. For those who don't know, she was asking him if he was high. WHILE RINGING UP MY SHOES, WITH TWO CHILDREN STANDING AT THE CASH REGISTER WITH ME. She flirted with the guy for the entire time we were there trying to pay for our shoes. The sad thing was that it wasn't a teenager. This lady had to be 25-30 years old. read more

Like some else stated it somewhat appears as a dying mall. Internally it is clean. Does lack some trendy stores of today. Waco smaller but has needs. Simon should of spent some money here in Waco. There were lots of needs and potential to greatness. Well it was filled just down the street at Central Market Place. There are still needs and money to he spent CMP doesn't have it all covered. Richland Mall it is time to step up your game or be gone. It will only take the demise of sears and a couple places like Bath and Body Works to leave and you are done. Oh yeah and the Food court sucks. Doesn't fill our desire to hang around to shop. read more

A surprise how nice the mall is. A lot of people seem to expect nothing of Waco, but after recent renovations its a good place to buy clothes. Most brand name stores are here. read more

Made a pit- stop here cause I wanted to see what the mall in Waco was like. My friend remembered it being not that great when he was a student at Baylor 5 years ago. It's still not that great. It's a small mall and they have a few popular stores like Victoria's Secret and Forever 21. I did see that they were building an H&M so that's exciting?! read more

This is the worst mall I've ever seen. It's small and there's no trendy stores in here. It resembles a dying mall. The food court is a joke. There's nothing to do, I wouldn't even want to hang out here. My brother came to visit me and he laughed at this mall because it's a joke. Richland needs to give it a little more effort. read more

Really small mall but it seems to have the basics here. You can literally walk from one side of the mall to the other in minutes. They have what you need and most stores are very reasonable. read more

Richland Mall has always been a not so nice mall. The store selection is low, and for the only indoor mall for miles, they have not been so good. The department stores are your regular Dillard's, Sears, and JCPenney. The food court is, I don't even know. It's just Chick-Fil-A, and something else. Loved the service of the stores, but the quality and cleanliness of the mall was very bad. Also beware of panhandlers standing outside of Sears. It was bad! They were like blocking the door. Never again Richland Mall! read more
