When I visited, the candle-making activity was not open yet, but I heard it will be available in July, which sounds like another fun reason to come back. The room I stayed in had a balcony over looking the park behind the hotel. Parking is very secure. I wasn't sure where it was because behind the hotel ended up at the garbage bins but the parking was underground secured by a roll up gate. My vehicle was very secure. Breakfast is cooked eggs with other items available. It's also close to the skytrain stain.

Try not to drive into the ditch for these spots. The farm buildings have been restored, and actually look pretty cool. There's a house, a barn, and a bunch of rusty old farm equipment. There is also a large community garden, and a bee section at the far end. Plenty of green space and paths to walk around too. Can't really comment on the high tea here but apparently it's available. Pretty neat to visit if one hasn't seen any 1800s buildings before. 1-2 hours is enough.

And I would recommend coming in gym clothes because at the end of this you will be sweaty. They give you a brief debriefing and there are 3 or 4 different games you get to play. You have to watch out for people camping and there are actual clans that play together so they are really good. But it is fun and as realistic as it will get besides paint ball. This is very fun! But every time, different people had issues with the equipment or the staff, who couldn't explain the games properly. So, we kept giving them feedback. After some time, when nothing improved and the staff didn't take any responsibility, one of our friends spoke to the manager directly and left a negative review, hoping things would get better. But today, when we tried to book another session, we were shocked to find out they banned him and a few other players who weren't happy with the service :|

I knew that this hotel wouldn't be as nice as our stay at the Hyatt, but it was quite the downgrade. The room we were given was incredibly tiny with only a double sized bed. It was also very dark and it just felt dirty overall. The nice part of our room is that they gave us a room on the top floor that gave us access to a private rooftop balcony but it's not enough to give it any additional stars since the balcony was pretty dirty as well. I think the best part of our stay was that it's near the shopping mall as well as near the metro. Also, since this was our last night in the Vancouver area, we used their free shuttle to get to the airport which is very close by. However, it does get crowded on the shuttle since they service 3 hotels in total, but fortunately we didn't have to wait and got on our shuttle. I personally wouldn't stay here again. However, I have to say that the staff was nice as well so that's also a plus. But not worth all the other negative things with this hotel.

One drawback is that the swimming pool and hot tub are outdoors, which isn't ideal during the cooler seasons. That's when I switch back to booking the Westin Richmond, when my children wants to swim.
