This was my second time going here :) The staff are always so fun and friendly, they really add to the experience. They also make sure to make you feel comfortable before starting and are more than happy to guide you through everything no matter how many questions you have. They have VR escape rooms as well as VR games, both are super fun but I'm personally a fan on their escape rooms because it is so different that your usual escape rooms that you see. The first time I went there we tried their Chernobyl escape room, it was a 3/5 star difficulty but we managed to escape 2mins before the hour!! It was so much fun, their VR technology is very impressive. When I went this time, I tried their Sanctum escape room which was very eery for me (I'm also easily scared so this might not be the experience for everyone). There were no jump scares in this one but it was based on a cult so it gave me the heebie jeebies! This was also a 3 star difficulty level but this time we managed to escape 15mins before :) since we had 15mins remaining, the staff let us play VR dodge ball to kill some time which I truly appreciated!! They have lots of VR gaming options and as just my son and I, we narrowed it down to Arizona Sunshine and Propagation, both zombie apocalypse games. We opted for Arizona Sunshine. A little bit of a learning curve on the reloading but we both sorted it out. Checking vehicles for extra ammo is a must to be successful to get to the next level. And love that they can track your game progress so when you return, you can start off where you ended the last session. It was so much fun and the staff were so helpful. It was a positive VR gaming experience and happy to recommend Evolve VR.

I hope my lengthy review will entice you to try at least one and to let you friends and family members know. Of course, any events like these, please take safety precautions. From the outside, does not clearly say NINJA TAG, it says TAG, but the door says the entrance on the other side that says to use the new entrance around the West side of the building. When you enter you would be greeted by the front desk to fill out a paper waiver. Normally it would be a digital waiver on the screen, but the program isn't working at the time I went. One game is $10.00 and you have 10 minutes to complete the recorded game stats. But you can stay longer to just practice after your scheduled time. I stayed like 2 hours there and continuously played the different stations. They require you to purchase the non-slip socks that you wear when playing. It is an additional $3.00. And unfortunately you cannot wear your own non-slip socks from other events, it has to be the ones they provide. Plus they also get you to purchase a wristband which is another few dollars. Overall it was around $18.00 for this activity. The wristband can be reused, but I forgot to ask if you could reuse the same Ninja Tag socks. They have bins off to the side of the counter to store you clothes and shoes. For safety and security reasons, you can store your valuables like phone/keys/wallets behind their customer service desk. After playing for 2 hours, I found the stations fun and some challenging. Everything inside is very well lit with red and it feels like you are in a dangerous warzone of entertainment. The most fun station would have to be the very first station because you get to run up a sliding hill and the goal is to TAG with you wrist the colors. There are 5 levels of different colors and if I recall correctly, I was able to get to the 3rd color BLUE. Please make sure after you have tagged the color to go down the hill like a slide on your back and arms in the air or close to your chest. Avoid the elbows and knees touching the slippery floor, you can skin your human skin. I did this slide multiple times and skinned my right knee. It feels like a bruise but after a few days, my knee aches to walk. I have been applying Polysporin a medical cream every day to speed heal the skin. It seems to be working, but still very painful.

For those that had glasses, we had to were the googles over our glasses which we were advised could interfere with some of the sensors in the eyes but overall, they were fine. Although we put them in place at the outset, all those with glasses all agreed that the googles still moved regardless of how tight we had them. Overall though, the googles didn't interfere too much with the game. For those familiar with Squid Game, it followed a similar pattern where we played group games to win individual points. It was a really fun theme, especially for those of us that don't like zombie pop ups. Lots of feet and hand movements. We really appreciated that right after the game is over, they led us to the back to show us three clips about our experience. The clip was also emailed directly to us right away. A really fun activity with a group. Would definitely do this again, and... perhaps won't be so nice with sharing info about certain aspects. Every man for themselves right?
