The shop is clean and well kept. I found their prices to be on par with other rental shops that I've used in recent years. For convenience we were able to leave our tuxes for collection from employees at the venue (the nearby Mercantile Hall). As much as I would like to give them a perfect review, I cannot because of some issues that arose. As we were changing shortly before the ceremony the best man noticed that his neck tie was broken as it did not include a clip (the ties are pre-tied and work by clipping the ends around the neck and then tightening). He almost had to forgo wearing a tie, but thankfully an employee at the venue was able to work some magic with some pins. The other issue was that I am not the largest guy. When I tried tightening my neck tie it was very loose and could not get any tighter. Before I get accused of not being able to properly tighten it, NUMEROUS people did their best to assist and came to the same conclusion that it could not get any tighter. We tried pinning it, but it still did not look very good. You can see for yourself in the picture I've included. It's disappointing to pay the amount that we did with the results that we got. I suggest staff remember to measure customers necks and make sure an appropriate sized tie is available with future customers. They also need to up their quality control and carefully inspect each piece that they send out (missing tie clip). Overall the experience was comparable to "Men's Warehouse" as opposed to a higher end shop. *10/7/21 update The shop did reach out and apologized for the problems (which is appreciated). There's really nothing else that can be done at this point as the event is over and the pictures are all taken. The representative that apologized mentioned that they could have corrected the problem had we brought it to their attention, but I would like to remind them that my brother's wedding was on a Sunday and although the venue was just down the street from the rental shop, they are CLOSED on Sundays.

ATTENTION LOCAL…read moreBUSINESS OWNER BLATANTLY MAKES HOMOPHOBIC COMMENT TO NEW CUSTOMER In the past few days I decided to pick up a new hobby to pass some time during the winter. Just yesterday I picked up an RC car off of marketplace and was toying around with it outside and quickly found out that it would be more suitable on a track rather than the narrow roads around my trailer park. I did some searching on google and found a hobby store not too far from me that has an indoor race track meant for these things. Before heading there today, I called the shop and politely inquired about their race track and what the process is for using their track, assuming there would possibly be a sign up, or some other barrier to entry before you can actually utilize the course. The owner informed me that the track is open on weekdays for practice runs, and that they do races on fridays. Not ever mentioning that there is a fee, or that they require an audit of the machine before operating it on their track. So I thought cool, seems like a chill place where people can leisurely go and have fun with their toys, and maybe the community is pretty welcoming to new hobbyists. Well, I was apprently very wrong about that. After maybe 10 minutes of racing my little toy car around their track, I decided to go check out the shop to see if there would possibly be an option for a car that would perform better on their track instead of my "cheap little amazon" car. So I go up to whom I presume to be the owner to ask him if he would possibly have any recommendations. Mind you he paid no attention to me up until this moment because he was talking to an employee/customer for quite some time. I was then quickly shamed because apparently I did not understand the rules, one of them being that the tires on my rc car have tread on them and will "fuck up the track". Shortly after I was also scolded for apparently not paying the $15 track fee, when there is literally no indication that there is any barrier to entry or that you have to pay before using the track. I would have gladly paid the fee and followed the rules if the owner actually treated me like a customer, rather than some guy coming in to purposely mess up their race track. I then explained to him that I did not hear about any fee when I talked to him on the phone, and that there are no signs located anywhere in the store stating the rules. He then responded with, "when the fuck is anything free in the past 100 years". Which I totally understand, but maybe you should mention that to your customers before they come into the store, or maybe not have the door to the track wide open where anyone should just walk in. I was then told to "get the fuck out of their store and never come back", and as I was walking out this person blatantly yelled at me, "yeah get the fuck out you fucking faggot". So unfortunately my expectations for a welcoming community in a new hobby ruined, all because of one person that should not be running a business if they're going to treat people like that. Terrible customer experience today at this store. We walked in looking for a helmet, of a specific…read morebrand recommended by my daughter's trainer in Colorado. Before anything else happened, the clerk named Jen or Jennie condescendingly said she would not help for us if we were going to get the fitting but buy the helmet somewhere else. She explained this was store policy and pointed to signs throughout the store that this was the owner's policy. I was shocked at the level of rudeness, and lamented this was not a good customer experience, and that we are prior customers who have purchased at the prior location. The clerk did not like hearing my opinion -- given calmly. Because there are so few tack stores, we mostly bit our tongues and held back our true opinion (that this treatment was outrageous). We went through a fitting and walked out with over $700 of product, including the helmet. Notably also, this clerk fumbled repeatedly trying to find us in the computer system for points credit or whatever in the system. After about a dozen searches she inputted my phone number. Turned out I had a $50 points credit, which she applied, which was a positive. I told her "see, I wasn't lying, we've bought from you before." If there were more competition in the area, I would frankly have told this clerk to shove it. I will note also that the store was empty, so any time spent with us that did not lead to a sale was not an opportunity cost on other sales. This was a humiliating experience all in all, and due to the need for a good, new helmet I swallowed it and spent my money. But if you keep treating customers like this, you will lose at least some. True disappointment. And a post script -- when I posted about this on Facebook, commented on their page, and tagged them, they blocked me. Guess they really don't want me to see them on Facebook and spend $700 again. No apology. They seem to not want me to be a customer. Classy.

From the moment I walked in, he treated me with respect, listened to what I was looking for, and helped me find exactly the right pair of boots without any pressure or sales gimmicks. His knowledge, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help made the entire experience enjoyable. You can tell he cares about his customers and takes pride in providing outstanding service. In fact, I trust this guy so much I'd let him watch my granddaughter--and that's about the highest compliment I can give!
