They said they wouldn't not give her a bottle and she could only have a sippy cup, the only way she would get a bottle is if she refused ALL day to drink. Well she only ate two bites yesterday all day and cried herself to sleep 3 separate times. So not only was she starving when she was picked up her voice was cutting in and out where they just let her sit there and cry. They did not fill out her daily forms with how she did and would not give me the login to be able to check in on her and it was her first day. Also, I went through a misunderstanding on when the payment was due and because I was a day late which I didn't know I was told I had to pay the late fee and this is her first week and I'm trying to figure out what they're doing and how things work. So they want to charge me money for misunderstanding the payment due date but then they starved my daughter all day and let her cry and never tried to see if she was okay. When we got home all she did was eat food and drink milk and sleep because of how of an experience it was. I have two older kids that went to daycare for years and the payment was always due on Fridays not the following Monday. I misunderstood and thought I had until that Monday to pay following from the Friday. She refused to understand and didn't want to talk about their negligence, saying I was given a handbook. She's right about that but it also states in the handbook that they're supposed to give me a login so I can see my child and that they're supposed to fill out the daily paperwork which they didn't. The lady that gave them a 1 star review for them dragging a child is correct and telling the truth because this lady only wants money and creates a picture that they're a great daycare which they are not. Please don't send your child here, you have to know them for them to treat you like a human being.

As an empty nester, the thought of coursework and memorization seemed a bit daunting, but I didn't have to face it alone. I wasn't sure I would be able to afford the school, manage the schedule and workload, or even if tending bar was anything more than a romantic idea. The people who run the school, helped me navigate every obstacle. (Thank you, David and Kelly.) The instructors are not just experienced bartenders, these people are teachers. My specific class of students ranged in ages from 17 to 70-something and covered many diverse backgrounds. Using their extensive knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, and techniques, the instructors taught each of us to develop our mixology, business, and personal skills. They tapped into our motivations and with their enthusiasm, made even the most complex of topics understandable and enjoyable. From fear to confidence in just two weeks--I earned my TIPS certification and state required BAC permit. I can now execute a top-shelf experience for guests while having a great time and making recession-proof income. *My instructors, David and Grace are well-versed in the art of mixology and perhaps most importantly, the local laws and regulations. They have trained counselors that work 24/7 to tackle abuse. They have support groups, outreach and advocacy, transitional housing and other resources. They also provide free GED education to men and women and mentor middle school girls. They try to educate and encourage and break down barriers of racism, violence, and hopelessness. They also started 2 new programs in 2013 that try to help individuals (after having moved out of abusive households to safety) to go to the next step of self-sufficiency. All teachers (100%) quit for "personal reasons" within about a two week period of each other in the spring of 2018 and were asked not to speak about the director negatively on their way out. Shouldn't be hard to put 2 and 2 together there. They also charge exorbitantly for the number of hours they are open relative to what other places in the area charge. They are closed for full weeks in December, March, and May yet still charge the full monthly fee. If you need to drop your child off earlier than 9 or pick them up after 3, there are extra charges, too.

I left that class feeling accomplished and proud of myself. The next time I took a class with Grace who was rude and standoffish and refused to spot me when I asked her for help saying "eh your fine." I didnt feel safe with the drop she was teaching, but she refused to give me the time of day or spot me. Her hair was absolutely filthy and she actually bragged to another student about not washing it for two weeks! After that experience I took a class with Kasey. Kasey seems to know her stuff a bit more than Grace and was able to explain why we were doing each conditioning exercise and which muscles we were focusing on, but Kasey also made me feel unwelcome. She was haughty and told me the reason why a movement painful was because I wasn't doing it right, even though I had told her I had a recent injury prior to class and was modifying the movement for myself. She embarrassed me in front of the other students. I like the space, even though it's small, but the instructors are hit and miss.
