Not only was the plumber 3 1/2 hours late, showed up in a plain white van with no windows, no credentials (should not have allowed him in) but quoted me an outrageous $850. Should have showed him the door but had company staying over and need the leak fixed. He also quoted me a 2 hour job, but was done in 1. Used cheap pvc parts in lieu of copper as my system was, did not fix the reverse pipe pitch and did not replace the drain fixture mechanism I found out later. Stay away from this company, a sham! Filing a claim!

He was late and had to leave to get different parts, which isn't terrible, but he just wasn't prepared. Overall, he did the job but left water all over the basement floor (and some nearby furniture/tools/clothes) but didn't mention the mess. When I looked at the final job, there a big chunk of stucco out of our exterior. I asked him to patch it and make it flat again around the faucet and got nothing but excuses and attitude. There are plenty of plumbers, I wouldn't waste your time with Abraham. I attached a photo of the old faucet and the new job where the stucco is clearly damaged but not patched. As well as the chunks he said were not there, and a part of our conversation.

He and his man shoveled all the walkways and the driveway so my wife could get her car out in the morning. They did this because they wanted to make sure the repair would work, and after the installation of the part, there was a certain amount of time the system needed to reboot. I repeatedly tried to pay him for all the extra attention and he refused. This is a true pay it forward company. There are few of these type of businesses these days. He limits his client base because it's not about the money it's more of a passion for this guy. I wish you nothing but more success.

So I checked around (reviews and Angie's List) and found Absolute (David). We had a very slightly leaky tank toilet and a couple stuck cutoff valves, one of them being on the leaky toilet, meaning if I had to cut off the water to the toilet, I'd have to shut off the whole house. David came up, explained and showed me what he was going to do (explaining that there were two different ways of repairing the cutoff valves and, hopefully, he wouldn't have to do the more difficult one that involved soldering, etc. I mentioned that I had to go out but that I'd be back in about an hour and a half. 'Don't worry,' he said. 'I should be done by then.' He was and the work was done expertly. Hopefully I won't need a plumber in the near future, but guess who I'll call should I have an issue?
