This review is long overdue, I've done business with Rich's since they opened but never took the time for a review. They've always exceeded expectations and are a valuable community resource, one of the few (only?) dedicated gun stores in town. I have bought guns off their shelves, ordered thru them, sold guns to and thru them, received excellent/expert gunsmithing services, purchased ammo & accessories, and received outstanding hands on training & advice. Lee and his crew created and maintain a great, roomy space with cool decor. I have never been pushed, ignored, upsold, or misdirected. Walk-up access to a gunsmith with Lee's experience is a huge benefit all by itself. I've bought elsewhere locally but not since Rich's opened. Rich's also offers an outstanding guarantee on all new firearms and I consider the prices very fair. If my wife decides I can have a new gun, this is where I'm going. read more

I need help purchasing a new pistol. I walked in, was promptly greeted and after a few minutes of discussion the sales person pulled exactly what I was looking for out of the case. He answered all my questions and I was on my way with my new purchase. The shop was very clean, well stocked and had a nice selection of quality firearm. It appeared that Baruch was working in the back in a shop that is completely open to the public. He has a dood selection of tools including a nice vertical mill. He also real gunsmith. I brought a model 12 Winchester 16 ga shotgun in to repair a cracked stock. The cost was $170 (fair enough). Once the gun was repaired I asked if he (Lee) could clean it for me as I had recently purchased it. When I went to pick it up the price had skyrocketed to $470. The cleaning cost $300! Lee had an arrogant attitude when I questioned the price. I owned a gun shop myself for 25 years and I would charge $40 to clean a gun. Not only was I over charged but I had to tolerate his nasty attitude! NEVER going back there! BEWARE! read more

What a great store! Beautiful layout with lots of room to move around comfortably. A large selection of firearms to review and check out. Plenty of ammo at reasonable prices. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They also have the best teaching facilities I have ever seen for California, Nevada and Utah. Classrooms are conducive to good learning experiences. They also have scenario training where you are immersed in a situation to defend yourself and loved ones. What a great way for training. Would have loved this type of training in my US Army days back in the 70s! Please, do yourself a favor and check this place out for all your firearms needs and wants! Stopped in here on a whim and we are certainly glad we did! Bought some ammo, as they were plenty stocked. Took a look at their selection of guns that were priced extremely fair; didn't seem inflated because of world events as Las Vegas has done. They offered us a look at their gun simulator room. It's an interactive laser point gun range that works the same as a live action video game. Perfect for those who have never even held a gun and kids learning. Will and another employee had amazing customer service. They never rushed us along to help another customer, but always greeted others to make everyone feel like there was plenty of attention to go around. Down to earth business. Clean. Innovative. This is hands down the BEST GUN SHOP around. They make you feel welcome and are very knowledgeable on firearms. Lee the gunsmith and his son Chris have done excellent work on many of my firearms . Plus any firearm you buy from them comes with an excellent warranty so you don't ever have to worry about a thing. I bought a Ruger SFAR from them, very fair price and service, great and knowledgeable staff, I highly recommend them!

Calling to confirm the broker fee to have an online order delivered to the shop the person said it would be $35 for the order. I specifically asked if it was per order or per gun, and it was confirmed that it was per order. But when I arrived to pick up the order they charged $35 per gun, citing that it takes twice as long to do twice as many guns. Reality is that it took about 5 minutes to fill out the paperwork - for both guns. That puts the hourly rate at about $850 per hour! I can understand a nominal fee to process an order. $35 for the order feels a little high to me, but $35 per gun is just highway robbery. This is one customer lost. read more

I brought in a sig sauer p220 that was jammed -- the takedown lever was binding, and the slide had partially released. The guys at the shop were friendly and knowledgeable - and they had it fixed straight away. Reasonable price as well. Highly recommend this place. Just stoped in after hearing ads on the radio, no one even asked if I needed help, 2 employees walked right by me and said nothing. Rolled around for a while, yes it's accessible but they have very little product or inventory. Should save the money on radio ads and get something to sell. Don't waste your time going there.
