I've played golf for 30+ years and always believed in instruction…read more 1) Patricia is hands down the best teacher I've ever had by FAR! 2) She really understands the golf swing, and how to communicate with the student, what you need to do to improve, and has GREAT practice drills to ingrain the changes. 3) Over the last 5+ years my handicap had creeped up from 6-7, to 14 (highest ever). After finding Patricia in early 2021, she had my handicap back down to a 7 in 5 months! 4) AND more importantly, for 1st time ever, I believe I'm on a path to get much lower. She is a natural and gifted teacher and I recommend her without reservation!

However, you can catch me here 2-4 times a week as it is one of my most favorite places to walk and look at gorgeous homes. The entire loop is about 2.7 miles which is perfect for getting to your step goal. If you don't have time (or it is too hot) to walk the entire thing, you can split it up on Granada. When it comes to parking, off of Coral Way and Cardena street there is free visitor parking for up to 2 hours. Overall, it's a great walking route that has gorgeous homes as scenery and friendly folks you will see regularly walking or running about.

The first field in the front of the park that is closest to the concession stand has a few divots and holes in the field. The field in the back right (closest to the pool) is in better shape and is the field I would recommend. When it rains, fields don't drain that well and even when there is the smallest amount of rain, there are HUGE puddles that are hard to get around that are on the way to the back fields. The price is reasonable at about $7 per player per hour. And leave your cleats at home because they aren't allowed. What I HATE about this park is that they do not allow dogs!!! Seriously... It's a PARK!! They made me leave with my dog and I couldn't watch my hubby play one time. A park that doesn't allow dogs is PATHETIC! Concession stand has a $10 minimum so bring a drink unless you want to treat your buddies to refreshments too! If you have kids, there's a little playground by the field closest to the concession stand so they will be entertained for 10 minutes until they get bored.

I'm still not absolutely sure where the parking lot for it is. My GPS led me a bit astray once I was in the neighborhood so I just used the parking lot for the golf club. The staff here seem friendly enough, but they don't allow cleats on the field. They allowed us to play that one time because we didn't know beforehand, but they're strict about the rule otherwise. There are other places that do allow them but are more expensive. The main attracting point about this place is the cost. It's about $8 a person for an hour and that's damn good for a field that size. Trust me. They sell sports drinks and snacks at the cafe and they take credit cards as payment with a $10 minimum, so bring cash if you don't want to be forced to buy a drink. I might be inclined to come back here because I own turf shoes that I can use, but I paid good money for my top of the line cleats and I prefer using them rather than my cheap-o turf shoes. 5 stars for price and size of field, 3 stars for the cleat situation. Math.

My wife was a beginner, and I was a recovering golfer who was once close to a scratch but had not played much in the prior 20 years. It's taken commitment and focus and it's been worthwhile. There is no beer girl to speak off the cart is always parked at the clubhouse. I play one or two times per week and rarely even see her. Bring your own beer( fair warning) you will dehydrate out their. It's a shame they are letting the place go, it used to be a dissent neighborhood course.
