Whenever we take a vehicle in to Auto Doc's, they always give us an estimate before making any repairs and my final bill always comes back at or below what I was quoted. I also appreciate that they will advise me about which repairs are urgent (safety issue) versus which ones can wait. I've never had a problem or concern that my vehicles weren't properly or completely repaired.
