Roadside Assistance from Farmers Insurance connected us for a dead battery in my car. WOW! Driver was onsite faster than estimated time & came with appropriate truck in case he had to tow an all-wheel drive vehicle. Truck was too big to move easily in parking lot, so I suggested using the portable jump start tool & it worked! 1. Most professional tow truck driver you will ever work with 2. Punctual - showed up exactly when I asked - 7am the next morning 3. Price was reasonable 4. He found a mechanic for me who could do the work quickly So I am parallel parking my Mercedes Sprinter van in Carmel when the computer activated the brake (thinking a branch was a car) and suddenly the brake pedal goes soft. I get out of the van and there is brake fluid by the rear wheel. I call Mercedes Roadside assistance and they have me on hold for over an hour. I finally hang up on Mercedes and Google finds me Ricky. He answers within two rings and shows up exactly when her said he would. He called his mechanic and got me rolling quickly! Our car hit a rock on hwy 1 on Christmas Day and needed someone to tow our car. There was no signal and it was pouring. We called our insurance company and even 911. First time experiencing a towing service today and my insurance company arranged the service with Ricky's Towing. The service showed up within 30 minutes after being arranged. The person that drove the tow truck was the owner Ricky himself and Ricky was such a nice guy and the whole process was handled professionally. My brakes gave out with brake fluids leaking everywhere and the brakes do not function at all. One would wonder how could someone drive it up unto a flatbed but Ricky was very courageous and drove that SUV up on to his flatbed nice and slow with very much care. The same great care was provided driving it down from his flatbed when we arrived at the repair shop. I had to ride with Ricky in his truck to the repair shop and he seems to be a popular guy in town because he was waving hello to a few drivers; even one yelled "Ricky!!!" while we were at a stoplight and Ricky gave the same enthusiastic acknowledgement to the guy. It was a great experience today with Ricky and his tow truck service and a bonus great conversation during the ride. I will be happy to use his service again and would ask my insurance company to specifically arrange it with him again in the future.
