We were then charged $1,400 and had to pay out of pocket with two days of storage included in that price to get our vehicle back. Illegal and wrongful actions on the part of Auto Care Towing and we will be filing a complaint with California Department of Insurance. California Highway Patrol. The Better Business Bureau and all agencies possible to alert and prevent other local customers to beware of their wrongful, fraudulent misrepresentation of facts and business practices. We have a very large pine tree that was getting old and very messy, not to mention it was a fire hazard dropping dead needles onto the building roof. South Bay did a great job pruning and cleaning up that old tree--now it looks young and green again, and all the dead wood is gone! From the estimation process, to safety on site, to the final cleanup, Sonia and Jorge were always positive and polite, and so professional. And their price was very competitive, too. Jorje was great, he told me he would chip it all when he got here. He did just that and did a great job trimming our trees. I had asked him to trim a lot and a month had gone by from our quote (fire season the trimmers were booked out), he remembered everything we talked about and did a great job creating our defensible space to keep our family and house safe. Our whole street uses him. My neighbor had a giant tree taken down by them. My other neighbor has him out multiple times a year to trim a heavily wooded area backing up to our neighborhood canyon. They like him so much they stopped by to say hi to him and his crew when he was trimming our trees. I have used a few other trimmers in the area who have been great. However, when you call them a 2nd time their quotes double. Jorje is honest and consistent with his work and price. We all talk about the Carmel mark-up, whenever people come to Carmel they always mark-up the price when you compare it to your friend in Seaside or Marina. He doesn't do that. He is consistent across the Peninsula. When he was in the neighborhood at my neighbor's house I took down a large branch myself and asked him if he would swing by and chip it for me. He cleaned up my unprofessional cut, chipped up my limb, and blew away the mess for me on his way out after a full day of work at my neighbors. Not many businesses in this area know what true customer service is, he does, and that's why we all use him as our trimmer.

When they were done, they just blew their debris into my planters, left my hose blocking a door, and didn't bother to clean their debris off my driveway. They also moved large boxes and trash cans away from the gate they wanted to use, into the middle my driveway, and didn't bother to move them back, making parking impossible. I guess if you're not paying them any money they don't give a rip about leaving a time consuming mess behind for you to clean up.

These guys have the…read moremonopoly on these brands for the region, yet they are quite possibly the worst company in America. I just endured a 3 month service fiasco from hell on my Hyster forklift. They started with trying to sneak a $500 charge on my credit card for a 45 minute service call. I am currently in process of disputing the fee and may end up having to sue them in court if my credit card company doesn't reverse the charge. The service call was a diagnostic, and it still took 3 weeks of prodding to get the service manager to write up a quote to replace the hydraulic system. Multiple errors and omissions on the quote had to be corrected by me, not by the $750/hour service tech. In process, discovered they were baiting & switching Chinese after-market parts instead of Hyster brand. They didn't complete the service. They discovered some fluids leaking inside the wheels and wanted $5k more to fix this. Since I only operate the lift a few hours/year, I asked them to just clean it up and slap on some new brake pads. They refused, and now the forklift has almost no brakes since they smeared it all up. They could have made it safe enough to drive, but made it worse instead. Moreover, they charged $1260 for a "D-Service" which is supposed to get this all cleaned, new belts and such & re-lubed but they forgot to clean it at all (same old cobwebs, greasy chains, etc) and I'll probably have to dispute this charge too. Accounting doesn't return calls. The service manager won't identify who the decision makers are. They are all sneaky, gouge at every opportunity, and operate half-arsed on a lazy schedule. Really, really awful. So if you were considering purchasing equipment here, or getting service, really -- do anything else.

The driver today decided it was a good idea to completely stop his truck in the middle of a merging freeway entrance off of soquel because he was probably on his Instagram feed instead of paying attention then when he realized he was throwing his truck into possibly oncoming traffic(which there was none) and another lane he stops completely with no regard for the traffic behind him. Then once we're on the free way he throws his arm out the window like he knows what he's doing and that multiple cars didn't just honk TF at him for driving like an idiot. I get yielding to oncoming traffic, like one should, but wtf is yielding your truck gonna do when your in the middle of the road blocking any oncoming traffic from even moving passed you?!?! I doubt these guys even care how your trees come out with the way the company lets these types of guys behind their company vehicles and laugh while they drive away from a multiple car pile up they almost created.
