Rico Suave was a wonderful find! We wanted a burger really bad and were going to Caboys just to find it closed. We walked a little disappointed & came across this wonderful place. I had torta de Milanesa and spouse had a torta with Ham & queso blanco & Americano. They were both to die for! The service is top notch, and saw a bunch of locals eating & taking out - my kind of place! Love this place. The Area inside is a little tight since they have these huge tables, but the staff is so friendly and attentive it works. I highly recommend if you want somewhere the locals eat, it's delicious & you want good service. I did not take a pic 'cause I was starving after going whale watching early in the AM. Fills all three requirements: Bueno, Bonito, y Barato (Good, Quaint, and Economical). This low cost $ category gets a five star rating. Mom and pop shop with lovely people and a love for cooking. Delicious breakfast for both Mexican and Americans. Huge menu of smoothies to power up your morning with recipe names like Superman, Tornado, Bomba and even a Beso. They have hot grilled sandwiches (tortas) as well. It is not a "locals only" place that you will find good food at a very reasonable price. The location is not the best as it is near a noisy street but it is worth going to get a low cost high quality meal. read more

This is what I mean by authentic. The smoothies are so fresh, it's unreal. and so is the breakfast. I had pancakes, eggs and bacon. The "hole in the wall" feel alone just feels homey and the food is cooked to order. I'll be going back again! read more

Food was good for the price. But there is no AC, the room is very small and cramped inside. There's only room for 4 tables and it doesn't feel the most clean. They have a wide selection of smoothies on the menu and on the wall. They didn't have syrup for my pancakes. Overall an ok experience, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this place. read more

Food was delicious and prices were ridiculously cheap. You can enjoy made to order smoothies and juices which was the highlight of our visit. Sincronizadas (quesadillas) were a group favorite and many raved about their breakfast dishes. So good we had to go a second time. We spent two afternoons walking through the "Centro" of Cabo. Quieter than other parts, we noticed Rico, sitting near the corner of Lazaro Cardenas and Vincente Guerrero. It's tiny, maybe 6 or 7 tables. You walk in, menus on the counter, 2 large menus on the wall, featuring their impressive array of fresh juices concoctions and smoothies. This meal we had tortas on our minds, and they didn't disappoint. I had the vegetarian and my partner had the Potosina. Both were large, flavorful and filling, and prices were downright ridic. Both big tortas was just around $6, and the salad was about the same, but the perfect size to split. All their juices looked amazing too, but not this visit. We'd gladly return for their breakfast specials of 55 pesos. A small, family-run diner that's a breath of fresh air. Bring cash, but it's worth it. read more

THE SMOOTHIES HERE ARE AMAAAAAAZING. I've been eating so much cheese, nachos, tacos, meat, and drinking anything but water I just needed to cleanse myself. They have green juices, but I opened for the trifuna which is like a grapefruit smoothie with some greens- 100 recommend! While staying in Cabo we searched up Breakfast restaurants and this one was walking distance from where we were staying. My husband and I grew up in a Mexican household and know what traditional food taste like. This has traditional written all over, starting from their delicious juices, to their wonderful food, down to their table cloths. Those table cloths you can find at my abuelitas house. We ordered a torta, which did not disappoint. My husband was amazed how huge it was compared to the tortas we are used to in the US. I ordered huevos rancheros and I loved the fact that it came with a portion of chilaquiles, knowing that chilaquiles is a whole separate dish it self. We also ordered 2 orange juices and LOVED them! Natural orange juice is always so good but taste even better when they do it right in front of you! Overall experience was great! Would definitely come again on our next trip! read more

Visiting Cabo for the first time, we came across this little smoothie shop while getting money out the Bancomer ATM next door. We initially stopped in for a quick smoothie and the lady that helped us, recommended the tortas. We decided on splitting one since we weren't very hungry, she recommended a torta with milanesa(beef) and cheese since my boyfriend doesn't eat pork. It was amazing. We went back the next day for more. The smoothies were so refreshing as well. Definitely recommend this little hidden gem. From the looks of it, they deliver as well. read more
