The food and ambience are fine, but the customer experience at Ricomini Rincón couldn't be worse. You should definitely go there if you have low expectations for life, have nothing better to do with your entire day, and spend most of your time waiting for a government check to arrive in the mail. However, for people that actually work, or want to get out and maximize their day, this place is like a glue trap. The drive-through is so slow that by the time you exit you'll be due for new tires and an oil change. On the weekends the counter-service is so backed up that you'll wait in line for a MINIMUM of 30-40 minutes just to order, before you then wait another 30-40 minutes for someone to make your order and call your name. They sell their "famous" artisanal rolls and ready to eat pastries, but there is no way to buy these pre-made products except to stand in the line of people ordering custom sandwiches-so rather than just swiping a credit card and walking out with your artisanal guava/cheese roll that stacked by the counter, you'll stand in line for 30-40 minutes behind people ordering sandwiches. Ricomini is a great place for stupid, lazy, fat people.....for everyone else, just go to a sit down restaurant-I guarantee you'll be in-and-out quicker, and the food and service will be better. read more

I love Ricomini Bakery, don't get me wrong. The service on this Ricomini could be better and specially the walk-in service. I waited 20-30 minutes just to order a grilled cheese and some pastry. The girls in the front were ignoring me at all times. I was almost the only one inside the bakery and still nobody asked me if I wanted to order. A lady came in, stood next to me and one of the girls asked: "Did you ordered?", and immediately started the order of the lady. I was so mad already that I told the girl if she can take my order. She replied that the order station was on the other side. Stood there 2 minutes more for the other girl to take my order. Saw a few customers standing where I was standing, and the girl grabbed all orders. 15 minutes pass and yet no order was made and only one employee, the one that is on drive thru, asked me if everything was ok with my order. I told her that nothing was made. She told me that she knew I was there for a while now. She was so kind to me and made all of the order by herself. And I thank her so much since I'm pregnant and to be honest, tired. The other two girls, one with nose piercing, both young where just doing other personal stuff and talking with other people that were not customers. This is probably the best Ricomini on the island. The cleanliness, the organization etc was really good. It helps to know what you are ordering before you get up there in line because the workers are always on the go and ready to maximize their business. However, the times I went here everyone was super helpful and patient with my long orders. They even have a drive thru which I think is unique to the island. Hooray for Ricomini!! I love their coffee! Good sandwiches, yummy yummy pastries and baked goods. Scrambles eggs are ok, nothing to rave about, but good enough. Service is a bit sllloooowww. If you come to PR you will find good coffee in many bakeries. My favorite over all the other places on the island is at Ricomini. This Ricomini caters to all the tourists from the mainland by having all the menu signs in English but the coffee and baked goods are still 100% Boricua. The quesitos are the best. I also enjoy their scrambled egg with criollo toast breakfast. Ask for fresh squeezed orange juice, they do it on the spot. And the oatmeal will get your pickiest eater to love it, I like mine with cinnamon sprinkled over it. It tastes like home. I see some people complained it was slow. I never had that problem (I've never used the drive thru) I usually walk in and order and stuff comes out within a reasonable amount of time. This is by far my new favorite bakery in Rincon Puerto Rico! Very large clean and modern sitting area. Very clean. The staff are very friendly and service is fast. I'm sitting at an outside table as I write this. We ordered over an hour ago. The donuts came out quickly and were very good. We didn't order anything that takes more than 10 minutes to cook. Came here for lunch, was told there is BBQ chicken. Well there was none for me I guess... I got stuck ordering a Sancocho soup, which was not good to only be slapped in acknowledgement when the guy sits next to me with a plate of BBQ chicken. Came in for a late breakfast and they did not disappoint! I got the Mallorca with ham, egg, and cheese, my husband got Mallorca with butter. Both came with powdered sugar on top!
