Ricomini is a staple on the island. I wanted coffee and breakfast when I woke up. I'm an early riser. The hotel breakfast started at 0800. It was 0700 and I needed coffee. Leave it to Ricomini to be there when you need them. The local brew is delicious and did the trick. Additionally, the hash brown and egg and cheese sandwich were a pleasant surprise. The fresh bread combined with the delicious cheesy eggs hit the spot. What a great breakfast! The service was quick and the girl behind the counter was very friendly. She suggested the egg and cheese sandwich. This is a newer location compared to their oldest location in Mayaguez. The facility is new and very clean. I enjoyed it! read more

All the cheese/guava pastries we had were great! We came here a second time when the food truck park was all closing and got breakfast sandwiches. The bakery items we purchased we full of flavor and fresh-- we visited at about 5pm. The girl at the counter was very friendly, nice and helpful. The only thing that bothers there's me during the visit is that I was looking forward to a chorizo pizza -- they didn't have any chorizo!! This is a great place to go when you've missed an early breakfast while on vacation but still want something fresh and delicious into the afternoon. The bakery is clean and bright. The breakfast sandwiches are perfect. I still dream about the egg, ham and Swiss on the pan sobao, pressed to crispy perfection...yum. The pastries and donuts were absolutely delicious as well. Nice and clean. So many things to choose from I had the bear claw and it was delicious. We are from Indiana so we all tried something different. My daughter's vanilla cake was so soft and moist and tasted so good. My other daughter got what I thought was a rice pudding it was different tasting but still good. Ricomini has been in PR forever. We come here often during every vacation in Rincon. Love their big sandwiches, flans, jelly rolls, cookies, etc. This trip I discovered the most amazing cheese/berry danish I have ever had!! First of all the danish are gigantic! Not only are they glazed and topped with generous amounts of delicious sweetened cream cheese and fresh jam, the incredibly moist danish is actually a cinnamon bun!! A must try!! Also, they are open every day from 6am-midnight, speak English and Spanish, and are very reasonably priced. Highly recommended! read more

There are a variety of sandwiches among other things to choose from. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and it was the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had! So flavorful it was ridiculous. There are so many choices of donuts and pastries to choose from it can be daunting. Both the glazed and chocolate were delicious. The food and ambience are fine, but the customer experience at Ricomini Rincón couldn't be worse. You should definitely go there if you have low expectations for life, have nothing better to do with your entire day, and spend most of your time waiting for a government check to arrive in the mail. However, for people that actually work, or want to get out and maximize their day, this place is like a glue trap. The drive-through is so slow that by the time you exit you'll be due for new tires and an oil change. On the weekends the counter-service is so backed up that you'll wait in line for a MINIMUM of 30-40 minutes just to order, before you then wait another 30-40 minutes for someone to make your order and call your name. They sell their "famous" artisanal rolls and ready to eat pastries, but there is no way to buy these pre-made products except to stand in the line of people ordering custom sandwiches-so rather than just swiping a credit card and walking out with your artisanal guava/cheese roll that stacked by the counter, you'll stand in line for 30-40 minutes behind people ordering sandwiches. Ricomini is a great place for stupid, lazy, fat people.....for everyone else, just go to a sit down restaurant-I guarantee you'll be in-and-out quicker, and the food and service will be better. read more

I love Ricomini Bakery, don't get me wrong. The service on this Ricomini could be better and specially the walk-in service. I waited 20-30 minutes just to order a grilled cheese and some pastry. The girls in the front were ignoring me at all times. I was almost the only one inside the bakery and still nobody asked me if I wanted to order. A lady came in, stood next to me and one of the girls asked: "Did you ordered?", and immediately started the order of the lady. I was so mad already that I told the girl if she can take my order. She replied that the order station was on the other side. Stood there 2 minutes more for the other girl to take my order. Saw a few customers standing where I was standing, and the girl grabbed all orders. 15 minutes pass and yet no order was made and only one employee, the one that is on drive thru, asked me if everything was ok with my order. I told her that nothing was made. She told me that she knew I was there for a while now. She was so kind to me and made all of the order by herself. And I thank her so much since I'm pregnant and to be honest, tired. The other two girls, one with nose piercing, both young where just doing other personal stuff and talking with other people that were not customers.
