He spent an hour with me and I learned more about my cedar roof than I could have imagined there was to know. Also, he had an estimate for the project by the end of that very day. We did not wait too long to get on their schedule and once we did, they kept every promise from material drop off to daily clean up expectations. The job site was tidied up and neat after each work day. Maikol Figueroa was our forman and he was so easy to talk to. I was very concerned about a glass structure under a portion of the tear out and Maikol handled it with full integrity. The roof is amazing and beautiful; we could smell the beautiful cedar scent while they were working. There were a few roof issues discovered during the project that were handled beautifully with a few conversations and now our roof is solid and secure. I trusted this company throughout the project due to their availability, responsiveness and knowledge.

Please make sure if you use them do not trust what they say. I am going to take them to court. Matt Rinaldi came out this week on Monday, the 10 of Aug with 5 other people from his company in an attempt to intimidate me and say there was nothing major wrong with the installments of the roof and gutters. I am an elderly woman with a husband that is not well. I am writing this review so that others do not have a similar experience.

I just felt that Dennis was a bit more knowledgeable about the product options and the installation details. His warranty was also better than the competition. He scheduled the installation at our convenience and his crew was absolutely amazing. We had between 12 and 18 workers on the job throughout the day and they were incredible. Hard working, polite, friendly and incredibly efficient. The site supervisor (Rick) was here all day making sure that everything went well and explained everything that was being installed and answered all of our questions. They covered our decks and gardens and at the end of the day they cleaned up everything. 13 hours later they were done. A beautiful new roof. There was a secondary job of replacing a small outdoor shower enclosure. The discussion about the door was thorough with replacement - something which normally comes in around $1000 - $1500 (door & labor) - suggested as the best choice. For the shower, I was given some suggestions for a larger, nicer enclosure. I did agree to get an estimate for that as long as I also got one for a simple replacement of the smaller walls and the shower head. That meeting left me feeling pretty confident in this company. After a couple of weeks I had to call to see if an estimate would be coming soon. They apologized for the delay and sent me the estimate later that day. $9000 for an amazing sounding, spa-like outdoor shower. No estimate for a straightforward replacement however And more importantly, no door estimate. When the mistake was brought to their attention, they did apologize. Then sent me the same estimate again. Last night I received a new email - not an estimate for the door but an invoice for it. No estimate or description of what would be done. Just a bill of almost $4000 for a door and work which didn't actually exist yet. Something had been vastly confused in the shower, but I'm puzzled that after that I'd still receive a stunning bill for a non-existent door One which I imagine would be incredibly epic on the little beach cottage it would end up on.

The first floor was completely gutted and reconfigured, we put in new mechanicals and updated the 2nd floor. We had a very tight timeline and Legacy was able to complete the project both on time and on budget. Eric, Brad and Bill were accessible and responsive throughout the project and have even helped us with some recent storm damage completely unrelated to the renovation. Within a day, Fred came out assessed the situation, acquired replacement siding and installed it that same afternoon. Looks great! I had another site unseen estimate from another contractor and Mr. Zimmerman's fee was much more reasonable. I recently learned he does power washing, which I desperately need. Once spring arrives, he will be coming back to my house. I highly recommend Zimmerman Construction.
