DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They were 30 minutes late with no notification. The gurney was dirty. The drivers didn't wear scrubs and they did not secure the gurney properly in vehicle. The transport van smelled like a cab with an awful smelling air freshener. Ghadeer, the scheduler assured me that the driver Abraham was familiar with the hospital where they picked us up and the hospital where they dropped us off and it was obvious he had no clue. Nothing but respect for this company. Last week, when my family was in a panic on how to take my Mom to the ER who is currently wheelchair bound and can't stand on her own. I called and they were able to fit me at their earliest. I had called another company and they said they required a 2 day minimum. They took my mom to the ER and picked her up when she was discharged at 3am. Then today had a last minute appointment for Xray and without fail, they were able to squeeze us in and worth every penny. I don't understand how they have amazing reviews. Their message even has the audacity to state that they're always on time. We reserved a ride for today and guess who didn't even show up? That's right, this company. When the scheduled time rolled around, my sister called to see if they were on their way. At 10 mins after our appointment they told us their driver had a flat. So they will send out another driver but his eta is 30 mins, mind you, their business is only 8 mins away according to Google. 30 mins later we call to see where they're at, I was literally on the phone for 25 mins, she put me on hold most of the time but they apparently couldn't locate the driver. I had to hang up since my dads funeral was already in session. So they are already an hour late, the driver is still unresponsive and all they said was you will be refunded. We are definitely waiting on that refund and I'm hoping that they do more than just that. We have already been stressing over the details of the funeral and this was the last thing we needed to stress about. I hope that they do not do this to other people. I helped my senior parents book transportation through Ride Aid Inc. I was hopeful that they would provide a good service. My mom had knee surgery and needs to keep her leg straight, so we thought this type of medical transportation would be a good option for taking her to urgent care at the hospital. The pickup was great, but the trip back was horrible. My dad could not reach the driver for 40 minutes, then they took another 40 minutes to arrive. My parents live 15 minutes from the hospital. My mom has diabetes and a long pick up like this could have really influenced an even worse day without the right medication. 2 stars, because pick up was great, drop off was a nightmare. We will not be using them again. $175 was not worth the added stress. read more

Wish I could give them 6 stars! I had less than 24 hours to line up transportation for my mother-in-law who was diagnosed with COVID and needed to be taken for an infusion. But she also has dementia, so she can't be left alone at the hospital. Not only was Ride Aid the only company I found that would deal with a customer with COVID, their driver stayed with her the entire time, shepherding her through the hospital to and from the infusion room. But wait, there's more. When I made the appointment, I told them that she could walk. Turned out she wouldn't get out of bed to walk to the sedan they sent. Ride Aid scrambled and got a van and a wheelchair there lickety-split. read more

Ride aid was wonderful! They transported my grandmother to her doctors appointment when I wasn't able to take off work. She has been using a walker and wheelchair this past year and it's much easier to use van transportation since its tough to use my tiny car. They called me when they arrived (early might I add) and I called my grandmother to let her know. They also picked up her medication which was awesome! Grandma even said that they spoke to her on the way and were very friendly! She's not an easy woman to please so that's bonus points from me! I was in a real emotional state. Turning 70 and getting a divorce. Lost my best buddy, my cat Larry, to cancer. I had no way of getting to my surgery. Late one night I found Ride Aid. Moe was so patient and listened to me for so long. He helped me feel so calm. He is a man with a good soul. They were right on time and the gentlemen that picked me up, Ahmed, was so kind. Sorry if I got the spelling of his name wrong. He not only drove me to my surgery but helped me carry my two bags of belongings. I felt like crying so I asked him to tell me about himself. What an interesting life. And as usual I couldn't stay quiet. It was such a relaxing trip home. And of course he escorted me inside my home. Give this man an A+. That was in September. In November I was on a waiting list for a vascular procedure on my leg. The didn't let me know I had moved up on the list and called me on a Wednesday to say my surgery was Monday. That meant I had be sure I had food for me and my girls (cats, not daughters) and any errands so I could recover and not be on my feet. I got in contact with Moe right away. He had no problem with my last minute request. It was a lifesaver for me. If I had missed that date I would have had to get on the waiting list again. Nadia got here before I was done packing. What a wonderful and beautiful woman. Inside and out. We talked like old friends. She made me feel like family. Couldn't ask for more. Unless you would want to give away the beautiful car she has. Riding in style and clean as could be. I hope to see her again one day. I would suggest anyone that needs non-emergency medical transportation give Ride Aid a call. Moe takes care of everything and is so compassionate. I have some more surgeries coming up and I wouldn't give any other company a second thought. Ride Aid is an extremely outstanding company. I called them last minute to transport my grandpa to his doctors appointment after he was stood up by another transport company. The transporter we were originally going with didn't bother showing up at all. So we had to push my grandpas appointment 2 hours later. Thank god we ended up finding Ride Aid after and sure enough they showed up 1 hour later in such a short notice . They were amazing guys . So professional and punctual. Let me start by saying when I spoke to Moe about booking a pick up and drop off for my brother. The nicest guy ever. He was so helpful in the information and very sympathetic to my situation. My brother is in a wheelchair and special needs man. I wasn't able to take him to his appointment. When the van pulled up and the driver knocked on my door to pick Michael up he had the friendliest smile on his face, and very professionally dressed. He was able to communicate with my brother and helped him feel very comfortable. Michael was not nervous to go in the van with a stranger. When Ride Aid brought him home Michael just wanted to hug the driver I believe his name was Abrahim, and said "I want you to take me to my appointments from now on". None the less, we now use Ride Aid for my brothers appointments and I couldn't be happier and comfortable to send off my brother with this company. I needed non emergency transport from the 2nd floor of my home to my doctor's office for a very very important appointment. It is very difficult to find this type of service. Ride Aid sent two employees over to evaluate the situation & stated they could accommodate me. All throughout the process I was kept informed. They graciously answered numerous questions I had. The pickup was on time and the transporters were very very nice. They always made me feel safe as they moved me off the 2nd floor and throughout the entire transport process. First off, my grandfather is a little difficult to deal with. He has Moderate Alzheimer's and isn't good with unfamiliar faces and can get rowdy and aggressive at times. I first called ShuttleMed and tried to get a price quote for taking my grandfather to an appointment. I couldn't request time off for me to take him. I couldn't get a direct quote let alone a set time a drive would be available for me, so.... My coworker is the one who actually told me about Ride Aid and the moment I called, I spoke with Tasha, and immediately got a driver on the way for my grandfather. She quoted me on my price beginning of our conversation and listened to the concerns I had for my grandfather. She explained that their driver would treat him as his own family and promised that they would meet the needs of me and my grandfather. Which is exactly what they did. Not only did they have him arrive early for his appointment but when it came to picking him up, the driver was also there early before he was released!! My grandfather was pleased with the transportation and wants to continue being with Ride Aid! Unfortunately my mother had a stroke and has become unable to stand, transferring her to a car seemed too dangerous, we reached out to Ride Aid for a wheel chair vehicle. The driver Abraham came arrived a few min early, helped us get my mom in the van, she remained in the wheelchair, and took us to her appointment. He was very familiar with the Kaiser facility and even knew where to drop us off at a different building we had never been to. I told him he could leave and we would call when ready he informed me their policy was to wait and that he was happy to. I'm glad he did wait, the appointment was faster than I had anticipated and when we were ready he met us helped us get secure in the van and took us home, I rode in the vehicle as well. If we need medical transportation again, I will definitely use again. read more

My husband sustained a back injury that required a months worth of physical therapy. He couldn't sit up straight for 2 weeks and I had no way of getting him to his appointments. I looked up transportation companies that provide gurney services and I found Ride Aid. Spoke to Moe and explained my situation and he quoted me a price and I agreed (great deal) 2 weeks went by and my husband was finally able to sit up in a wheelchair so I stayed with Ride Aid a week later my husband was finally walking slowly, but I had work so I stayed with Ride Aid because my husband had built a relationship with the driver who was there since starting with them. I could have just paid an Uber but the level of service this company taught their driver was beyond phenomenal. Nice clean vans and professional uniformed drivers . Anyways It's been 5 weeks and my husband is back to 100% thankfully. I recommend you try Ride Aid for yourself or loved ones if transportation is ever needed.
