Ride Along came to me and my family's rescue when we were stranded at a truck stop on I-70 and needed to get to a rental car at the airport. He was fast, kind, and reasonably priced. Thank you so much! read more

Depot is not your choice taxi. But neither is this cab company. The driver can be really nice or as mean as can be. I would only recommend this cab company in a pinch and that's pushing it. They have forgotten to pick me up after an arranged time call. The driver gets grumpy about his own business and takes it out on the customer. Will not pick up the phone half the time and that's before the cell phone ban. The list can go and on. Do yourself a favor if Depot is not your thing consider contacting family or taking the bus. read more

I called back because she didnt give us an est. amount of time to wait. She hangs up on me again after saying 15 min. An hour an 15 min later I call back to say forget it and she starts talking shit to me. This service is always like this. Always takes forever and refuses to wait on anyone to go in somewhere. You have to call back and wait hours again. Rude. We will never call again for another cab. Richmond needs a new cab service. With this service as the only existing one, a new one would thrive in this town!!

The entire place is very clean and well kept. We also loved the "site service" where you can get food and wood delivered from the store right to your site and trash pick up from your site. The highway is within ear shot which didn't bother us since we're used to traffic noise. Overall this is a great place that's nice and small and family friendly.

The private patio with a grill and fire pit had a view of the water. It was also impeccably clean. Being able to rent a golf cart made traveling around the resort with two kids a breeze. From the beach to the multiple playgrounds, we were able to get anywhere we needed. There are so many amenities as well. The spring fed lake is gorgeous. There is a kids swimming area and a deeper adult swimming area with a swimming mat and a floating dock. If lake swimming isn't for you, there is also a heated pool. We also used the Wibit (floating obstacle course), kayaks, and paddle boats. All the rentals were reasonably priced and were great additions to our stay. The camp store and cafe are great as well. We were able to grab pizza and ice cream during our stay. We will definitely be back.

The parade seemed to be made out of season campers that all know one another. 4. The older teenage element, that seemed to be seasonal campers, whoa! The mouthes one them. We fished with our kids as they dropped bunches of foul language & then proceeded to talk about fighting people, slamming people on the ground, and then ultimately sexual intercourse. These kids were not role models for our young ones. Oh and they were watching a kid that is about 6 years old. 5. The bathrooms, while they were. It the worst we've ever seen, they need a make over. 6. The lake is awesome. Bring a kayak or canoe if you have it. 7. Our fire pit had not been cleaned out in a very very long time.

Overall our experience at the Hampton Inn was pretty positive except for one major thing. First…read morethe positives, Staff - the front desk attendant was very friendly and accommodating. The staff also left us a goodie bag in our room with a personalized note as I'm Gold Status. Cleanliness - everything we saw was clean and orderly. It looked relatively new and well take care of. Showers - water pressure was good and it was HOT!!! Almost too hot to start with. The negatives: Construction - this isn't anything the hotel can help but it was a mess trying to get in there and find it because of construction. Bed quality - this was the biggest drawback for my wife and I. The bed was FIRM... like sleeping on a rock firm. We like a softer bed and this one caused some problems sleeping. If you like a firm mattress this may be perfect for you. The neutral items: Breakfast - we left too early to get breakfast so we didn't have a chance to try it. Overall, I would give them another try to see if all the beds were as firm and since there were so many positives.
