Miss Pat and Scott were very welcoming; they even escorted us to our site each day and made sure our RVs were level. Great people, nice quiet campground. And they welcomed my 3 dogs! Steve even went and got two boards to make my unit completely level and said to take them with me for future use. We will definitely be back.

So as we were setting up the camper a staff member came over and gave us bracelets to wear for the weekend. No problem. But we were the only people we saw all weekend with the blue bands on, lol. If you enjoy loud parades of country music blaring golf carts, this is the park for you. ALL weekend long. Now with that being said, once quiet time hit, it was in fact, quiet. I get the feeling this park is mostly seasonal campers and those that are not seasonal are probably frequent campers. There didn't seem to be much communication as far as those of us that are new to this campground. For instance, activities. We happened to spot a small note on a cork board in the office about Bingo. Had we not stopped in for another reason, we would never have seen this. Maybe add an activity board around the restrooms? That way others can learn about the activities if they have no reason to go to the camp store. Another example, there was a town parade for Memorial day. Maybe again, put something on the activities board about that? Not only to let families know there is a parade going by the campground but also to warn campers that if you need to get out, you will not be able to during certain times. I like that they are adding fun things to the park and oh, the water. Beautiful!! Believe it or not, it was unseasonably cold for the end of May. Too cold to get in the water, lol. We hauled our kayaks up here only to not be able to get in the water but that natural spring is what is going to bring us back. I gotta get in that water! Make sure to stop in the camp store about ask about the "treasures" buried underwater. Fascinating. The park was clean; the staff seamed nice. I started out this review with a 3 star but as I got to this point in my writing, I talked myself in to another star. But really, communication for activities is a big deal when camping- consider fixing that. We will 100% be back- just to kayak in the water is reason enough.

The private patio with a grill and fire pit had a view of the water. It was also impeccably clean. Being able to rent a golf cart made traveling around the resort with two kids a breeze. From the beach to the multiple playgrounds, we were able to get anywhere we needed. There are so many amenities as well. The spring fed lake is gorgeous. There is a kids swimming area and a deeper adult swimming area with a swimming mat and a floating dock. If lake swimming isn't for you, there is also a heated pool. We also used the Wibit (floating obstacle course), kayaks, and paddle boats. All the rentals were reasonably priced and were great additions to our stay. The camp store and cafe are great as well. We were able to grab pizza and ice cream during our stay. We will definitely be back.

We had a good experience with the staff at the office, the bathroom/shower was nice, but as with any campground a mess towards the end of the day. I did see that they cleaned the shower area but with all the traffic in and out I realize it would be hard to keep clean and some kids/campers are inconsiderate. The weekend we was there was full but evenings were quiet. Being on the river we did have to contend with preteens walking through your campsite to get to the river, which I blame on no camping etiquette, lol

Lots people from Indy area come here. Having golf cart would be nice & they do rent them. We always bring our own drinking water & only use site water for showers flushing. (Some bad reviews complained about water) Kids 3rd grade and shouldn't have any trouble swimming in quarry, It's loaded with inflatable to climb. Water is very calm to tube. I can see Thursday night place started filling & people were beginning to let there hair down. If your seasoned camper you won't be let down.

We stayed at the new phase two pull through sites. Perfectly level flat gravel sites. Offers 50a, 30a and water. The only downer was there is no sewage as of yet. However they offered as go around with a free Mobil pump out in the morning so it didn't matter anyways. The staff at this KOA are so helpful and you can tell they love their job and are so accommodating. They try a put you in the best sites if they are available.Thanks Michelle! The only downside is all of the golf carts from nearby Twin Oaks. I'm not old by any means but I just want to chill out by a campsite and not hear and see a golf cart flying by every few minutes into late night. Annoying but not a deal breaker.

That party scene just wasn't for us. The site we got was 46 literally next to the dump station, like 15 feet. I don't think many people left while we were there so it didn't have a big impact. That's also where the water is located so if we needed to fill that would have been easy to do without moving. The park is much bigger than expected with playground, game areas, mini golf, kayak rentals available, beach, etc. There wasn't much info provided during check in on these so we didn't know they were available until it was too late to use. Would have been nice to know so we could plan our days a bit better. Overall it was a great decision for us but if we weren't occupied by the concerts all weekend there wouldn't have been much in the area to do.

The staff is wonderful, very helpful and friendly and will go out of their way to help you. They ARE very pet friendly, (we have two cats and a dog) you just have to clean up after your pets and keep them on a leash. The bathrooms are clean and air-conditioned. The grounds are very well maintained and they have pump out service for a small fee (if you get a site that doesn't have septic) and RV service and repair. They installed our new air conditioner and did a fantastic job. They also have fun events here. We will be staying here every time we come to Ohio. Don't be fooled by a poor review. This park is awesome. You should definitely check it out.
