And then come to find out, they don't deliver bedridden patients, only wheelchair service! The owner was a total flake! That's when my sister found Swift Valley Medical Transportation. They have glowing reviews on Yelp, and I was just happy that they could make time in their busy schedule to help us out! It was reassuring to see that they have 24 hour service! Even though they had to endure Sacramento's typical rush hour traffic, my dad was delivered to me safe and sound! And they were just the nicest of guys as they gently and professionally placed my dad into the hospital bed. When I thanked Omar and Steve for being available on such short notice and told them about the run around we got from the other transport company, one of them said we have a "no flake policy!" LOL! The owner, Megan, was very personable and kind, and patiently answered all of my questions. Booking the appointment only took a few minutes. You can pay via credit card at the time of booking or pay via credit card, cash, or check on the day of service. On Sunday morning, the driver Melissa, arrived at my mom's house a few minutes before our scheduled pick up time to get set up. Upon meeting her I could tell she was a genuinely kind person and took pride in her work. She set my mom up into the van in less than two minutes and they were on their way. It was a smooth, enjoyable ride for my mom. Melissa gave me her cell phone number in case I needed to change the initial departure time and we stayed in contact to determine a new departure time.
