I called the owner Shane Clark, told him I had an infestation of bees in my attic. The company that extracted the bees didn't have time to fix the hole they just left it open. The owner of Ridge Runner said he would come out the same day to do the repair if I wouldn't mind him coming after his other repairs were completed. Once Shane showed up, and truly evaluated our 30 old concrete tile roof, and our leaking attached porch....we knew a professional finally showed up . Shane gave us a fair bid, started when he said he would, and finished on time ! But let's face it "The quality of work is what really matters". I contacted Shane through yelp, and he responded quickly. He came out that same night and looked at where I had a leak on my roof. He quoted a very fair price and was able to have one of his guys come and complete the job within a couple days. The job itself took about 4 hours. Shane came on short notice while we were having weeks of rain (so I know he was busy). He inspected my whole roof and found where the big leak was coming from and also found a second leak that was just starting to show damage that I was unaware about. I had water damage in December due to the Thanksgiving snow. I contacted a contractor to start the process. It took 7 weeks for Ridge Runner Roofing to provide my roof repair quote. When he did so, he did not itemize his quote (which insurance companies require when the roofer states their estimate wouldn't cover the entire job.) This was ridiculous; when I called him out on social media and asked for referrals for other companies, he backed out of the job entirely without a call or notice. So professional all around - NOT! Do not use Shane. He waited 3 weeks to come see the house when he had questions, then told his contractor a week later that he needed to come out again. To me, this was because he never came the first time. Lying to customers and taking 7 weeks to create a quote when I was promised the quote in less than a week is ridiculous. This guy plays a game with needy customers... meanwhile I have had no work done since December 3rd and my house has water damage and mold inside that cannot be repaired until the roof is completed. This guy held me up and it's beyond unprofessional. Don't use him, he's got no work ethic. read more

I contacted 6 roofing contractors for estimates on a wind damage claim on behalf of my 84 year old dad. Gotta watch out for Dad! I had 5 Roofers come out and give their estimates and out of the 5 roofing contractors, I chose Shane Clark of Ridge Runner Roofing. From start to finish, Shane was thorough, professional, courteous, honest and a down to earth guy. No disrespect to the other hard working roofers, but Ridge Runner Roofing got the job because he was friendly, answered all our questions, and most importantly...treated my my 84 year old dad with respect. Oddly, the other contractors were all business, but there is something to be said about showing common courtesy and kindness to your customers. It's not always about being all business, you have to connect with your customers during a stressful time and Shane did that. I would be happy to provide references for him in the future. Oh! I almost forgot to add that the inspector who came out to finalize the roofing job stated that Ridge Runner did an outstanding job! read more

I read a few reviews that were mixed , but I gave him a try because he was local and answered all my questions and concerns over the phone. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I hired Shane Clark two weeks ago to give an estimate on a re-roofing job. He came out the following day and measured the roof. He left without discussing details with me, which I thought a bit strange since the other two roofing bids spent some time with me to go over options, materials, etc. I waited several days for Mr. Clark's estimate. On days 4-6 I called and left messages requesting an update, but received no reply. Day seven I went to his office. He wasn't there but the secretary was nice enough to try to call him--no answer. She assured me he was okay and was in the office that week. I left my name and number. Day eight I returned there and missed him once again. Now, I understand that a roofing contractor is more often than not out on a job, but when I asked someone in the office if he could help track down my estimate, he shrugged his shoulders and suggested I give it another "week or two." Compared to the few other contractors who provided estimates, Mr. Clark's customer service is a big fail. A simple call saying he'd been delayed but would get the estimate to me within x amount of time, would have been welcome. Instead, I delayed proceeding with the work for several days for no good reason. Was my job was too small? Whatever the reason, it would have professional of him to call instead of being left in the lurch. Very strange. read more

I called Ridge Runner Roofing and left a message. I received a call back later that same day from Shane Clark. I explained my roofing problem and that I was on a deadline. I am a Realtor and the home inspector had found a problem which needed to be taken care of ASAP since it was in escrow already. He was very responsive and said he would go by and take a look as soon as he finished his current job; somewhere between 5 and 5:30. True to his word, he went to the property and called me with a quote (very fair pricing). I asked him if he could possibly do the repair right away and he agreed. Fortunately we are on daylight saving so there was still a few hours of light left. I could not be there but he agreed he would do the repair and I could pay him when I returned. He did a great job and it passed the return inspection with flying colors. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Polite, professional workmanship and goes out of his way to get it done and provide excellent customer service. He understood my deadline. Would not hesitate to recommend him across the board for any roofing needs. read more
