He emailed me immediately upon completion, and we were charged only a nominal fee based on the ease with which he was able to complete the work. Mr. Williams' professionalism, warmth, and generosity of time and expertise were so appreciated. **Extremely Disappointed -- Would Not Recommend. Bait and Switch Approach.** Our experience with Ridge Top Exteriors went from very positive to extremely disappointing. We originally received a quote in **May 2026** and had such a good experience with the sales representative that we returned in August when we were ready to move forward with our project in Q4. The sales representative came to our home **twice to confirm measurements**. We received a final quote, approved it, both parties signed the agreement, it was notarized, and financing was approved. We believed everything was finalized. Then the project field manager came out, raised issues involving labor that had never been discussed or included in the scope, stayed about 20 minutes, and left without any real explanation. When I contacted the sales representative, he **acknowledged that Ridge Top had made a mistake and failed to account for additional labor**. We were then told we needed to pay approximately **$5,000 MORE**. This was not additional work we requested--it was a mistake on their end, despite the home being measured twice before the contract was finalized. I asked if Ridge Top would absorb the cost since their own error caused the issue. There was **no management call, no meaningful effort to resolve it, and no itemized breakdown explaining the additional $5,000**. Instead, the message was essentially: **pay the additional amount or cancel.** The most disappointing part wasn't that a mistake happened--mistakes happen. It was the complete **lack of ownership and customer care** afterward. We had a signed and notarized agreement, financing approved, and had done everything expected of us as customers. We ultimately cancelled. A company should stand behind its estimating process and work with customers when its own error is discovered--not place the financial burden on the customer and make cancellation the only alternative. We specifically came back to Ridge Top because of our positive experience in May, which makes this outcome even more disappointing. **I would not recommend Ridge Top Exteriors based on our experience.** Potential customers should get very clear written confirmation of what labor is included before signing anything. read more

As a non-native Floridian, I have had difficulty adjusting my expectations on contractors when it comes to response time, work ethic and the overall quality of service. I've had way too many "no-call, no-shows", and this project started off similarly with other siding repair companies. Multiple quotes, but then (crickets)..... Ridge Top was very responsive, and ... We needed fascia repair because of Milton and called for an estimate. The "project manager" came and took pictures and talked to us like we were idiots. Dismissed every question. Insisted we needed a lift which he stated was over a thousand bucks. Estimate was way too much but we went ahead with the work because no one else could come for over a month and we worried about water intrusion. Turns out no lift showed up. We called them on it. Run as fast as you can away from this company! They have lied about their products, substandard products and installation! They have been back at least 6 times to fix the horrible door installation. Have had to come out and paint it twice and it's now peeling. Oh by the way it was never supposed to be painted the door was supposed to be a specific color but they lied, the door only come in a few colors and not the one we wanted. Installers were horrible measured the door wrong, it has just been a nightmare! $7,000 for a door that is awful! read more

I feel very torn writing this review. I was recommended ridge top by a colleague, and read so many great reviews about the company. I was looking for a new roof since mine got damaged from a tropical storm, and I was working with my insurance company to get it paid for. I had my initial estimate that came in and I signed all the paperwork to get it scheduled. We had some back and forth before the roof was installed on some things in the estimate for insurance to cover, but my contact Chris said all would get sorted. The day of installation was great, the roof looked amazing. There were a few hiccups, like my porch inside on the roof had some cracking, the siding got torn up a little on one side of the house, and one of the soffits were damaged and put back on incorrectly. It took weeks for them to come back and fix, but overall my installation experience was fine. What was not fine was that after I had signed a contract with a set number for the roof, they came back asking for more money. They only did this because I told them that this was an insurance claim, and all they saw was a blank check. They insisted for me to claim the siding THEY damaged to get in their words "a whole new house, all new siding!" I told them I did not want to make a claim, that they should be responsible for the torn up siding. I said I did not want my insurance rates to go up, and they insisted that insurance cannot raise rates due to claims (they sure well can). I don't know if I was treated this way because I'm a young woman, or a young homeowner. But I felt taken advantage by from Chris, the sales rep and had to fight with him to get a document signed saying paid in full, when they threatened to come after me and my insurance company for "not paying them the full amount" which they kept changing everyday like the wind blowing. I would not recommend working with ridge top, and wish I would of went with another company. read more

I called this company and talked to Erica. Told her what I needed done. She said they couldn't do some of the work because we have a metal roof and that was fine with me. I still wanted a quote on the other work that at the time she indicated they could do. She scheduled an appointment for like 3 weeks out. That day came and no one showed up or called. A few days later I get a call from them to reschedule the visit for a quote. That appointment was going to be the middle of December. I got another call that they said they come come sooner, next Monday. Well today I got another call that they basically told me they don't do the type of work (exterior) I'm asking for. I explained to Erica in the first call what I needed and if that's not what they do then they should have told me then instead of wasting my time. I wouldn't recommend this company at all. If they can't even get you a quote without issues I can't imagine what kind of issues one would have if they did any work on someone's home. read more

We recently had our roof replaced and were very happy with the roof itself; and delighted with the work crew that did the work! I was NOT happy when the project was finished however that our final paid invoice did not include a total breakdown of costs - materials, labor, permits...and when I contacted the office and spoke to more than one person I was advised that they "were not able to generate a breakdown receipt from their system" and the final number was all they could provide. Again, we are not unhappy with the product or the work, but we as the consumer with a $25K project feel that a total breakdown should be available and provided at our request. Unfortunately, I did not request this breakdown before the work was done and I won't make that mistake again. One other small issue was when the sales person came out to give us an estimate, he stepped through the ceiling in the attic and damaged the drywall on our living room ceiling. They did send a contractor out within just a couple of days to repair that damage and they did follow up with a phone call to make sure he had been here. However, nobody ever came back to look at the repair or provide someone to re-paint that damaged area. We've taken care of that ourselves, but feel they should have offered. read more

They just completed a very complex siding on my multi story home. It was not the run of the mill simple process but involved multi siding products including faux stone; shake shingles and regular siding. There was a lot of wrapping involved as well as soffit included. On their trucks they have a motto " Customer Service NO. 1" This job had some difficult challenges and minor errors were made BUT this is to be expected in such a complex job; I was absolutely 100% satisfied with how quickly and thoroughly all of the supervisors and workers responded. NO excuses; NO waiting; but right on the problem. I highly recommend this company to anyone. read more

We have had nothing but issues using Ridge Top Exteriors. After all the installation problems we have had , we now cannot have the county sign off on the roof and get the credit from our insurance. This is due to Ridge Top not sending in the required photos and documentation needed by the county. Our roof was completed on June 17th, the county came out to inspect on the 30th. Ridge Top was notified what was needed and even well after a month passing the needed documentation has not been received. Do not be blinded like we were by all the positive reviews as actions speak louder than words. read more

By far the worst company to ever do business with. Highly recommend you use anyone else. Ordered new windows in July of 2020 and I'm still waiting. They claim a window came in and was broken, and ordered another one. The next window they brought and installed was also broken. They ordered another window and that one was replaced but was all scratched up. I advised them I would not finish playing for the job until the work is completed and inspected by the County. They advised me that was fine and they understood. As of today the work has not been completed, and to top it all off now they are sewing me for the non payment. Nice company, don't complete the job and then sue you after agreeing on no payment till completion. Seriously use someone else. Nothing but issues from this non professional company. read more

Company targets home owners with roofs that are not new. They knock on your door and leave letters saying they doing other projects in the neighborhood so they can give you a free "estimate". They offer to file false insurance claims. After coming to my house 3 times they stood at the door waiting for me to walk by and wouldn't leave until I opened the door. I work from home some days and was on a call, the person on the other end was appalled by the exchange as was I. After I said no thanks I am working and closed the door, they somehow managed to find my business phone number and called to harass me again. On the call they lied and stated they found an issue on my roof. They have never been on my roof, my roof is fine and has had zero hurricane damage. I wouldn't use this company even if they did my work for free. They follow a deceitful approach where they come to your house and offer to do an exterior roofing job for free. However, they use this as an opportunity to contact their attorney and your insurance agency to file a claim, alleging that your roof was damaged due to a hurricane or tropical storm. They convince you to reassign the benefits to them, promising that it won't cost you anything. But in reality, they charge your insurance company three to four times the actual cost of the project, causing your premiums to go up significantly. This scam has been going on for over a decade and is the reason why insurance premiums have skyrocketed in the last ten years. Companies like this make it seem like they are helping you, but in reality, they are scamming you and your insurance company. The State of Florida is considering abolishing the assignment of benefits to prevent these businesses from exploiting this loophole. read more

I honestly can't recommend this company-project manager was rude at times-the siding on my home looks ok-I would not say anything spectacular-saw flaws in some of the workmanship-for the price I paid I expected perfection. The boys who ripped old siding off of house-bent my shed door, and when I told project manager he said it would be fixed-never fixed to my satisfaction. Screwed the panels back in haphazardly-gaps in the door. I will have to spend more money to replace the door. Electrical issues-exterior lights were left hanging from the house during the installation as well as pounding nails into electrical outlets. Screen porch area tile is cracked and pulled up in places. I had to have my electrician come out and fix what they screwed up-they did reimburse me for the electrical bill. read more

So today is the first day of the installation if our new windows first of all Greg the installation Forman met me at the door and we immediately hit it off. He was on time and wanted to walk the entire house to make sire we agreed on everything. I left for work and my wife texted me a few times to say that things were going well a d see really was comfortable with the guys. This is paramount to me as I had to go to work. Gary was very racist, and stated no less than 5 times that they do not hire "Jose's", that I wouldn't want "Jose" coming to my home to install windows. At one point, he even pointed to himself (white) and my husband (also white), and stated, "you want someone who looks like us coming to your home." That is a direct quote. He also didn't listen to anything we said, but continued a sales pitch that clearly was not working on us. Not only did he almost hit my vehicle at a red light, he chased me down and had his crazy wife yell obscenities out her window at my family while he laughed like he was high on drugs. Absolutely ridiculous behavior for someone in a company truck, his wife and him made an embarrassment out of your company. I left the same review on facebook only for whoever manages the page to say that the driver "didn't have the same story as me"...well of course he didn't. They cut corners. A year ago we had our roof replaced by Ridge Top Exterior. These past few weeks we have had a lot of rain and began to notice leaks in our home. After several calls to the company, they inform us that we need flashing installed. (Something I would think a year ago would be brought to our attention while they are installing the roof) Now they claim they don't do stucco, and will not repair unless we hire a stucco person to cut back and repair the stucco. This company installed new windows and a sliding door on our home, which had windows that dated back to 1972. I can't say enough about the workmanship, staff and professionalism of all involved. We got a great price on this job, they cleaned up when they were done and have followed up twice with us to be sure we were completely satisfied.
