This park is a really good size and has a lot of different activities. Lots of shade on the playground, which is great for the kids. A ton of sand - almost too much. I would prefer more areas that were not so sandy. The playground has a nice variety of things for the kids to do - swings, slides, a little bit of climbing. Both my 3-year-old and 5-year-old loved it. On a weekend morning, it wasn't too crowded either, which was great! There are plenty of places to sit in the shade and have some snacks as well. There are bathrooms, a huge field, and a gazebo - not sure if it's by reservation only though. There's also a free little library, which is super cute! I love discovering these. Pretty good selection too. There's also plenty of parking, and it's easy to get in and out. Overall, a great place! read more

What a beautiful park. My son's playmate lives in the area and we've met here several times and it's always great. There are nice play structures for the kids to climb on, sand to play in, swings, plenty of shade, picnic tables, a nice trail for walking, big open space to run around and kick a ball, and gorgeous mountain views. It's also only about 10 minutes from Laguna Beach, so if you're like me and don't live close by, it's nice to make a day of it and hit the beach right after, and lots of great lunch places nearby too! Wish we lived closer to come here more often, but every time we are down there we are so excited to play at this beautiful park. read more

I definitely recommend this park for mamas looking for a nice and safe park for their young kiddos. Convenient parking close by and the park itself does not have easy access to dangerous roads. The playground equipment is fairly new and there is plenty of seating for parents to watch the children play. My boys and I love it! read more

A serene, beautiful park! It reminds me of a newer, safer and better version of Hillcrest Park in Fullerton. I take my dog here and she loves running across the huge expanses of grass and the cool slope that goes down into a little valley. Then if you go across the street there's another park, Wingspan Park. Just another reason why Aliso Viejo is a great city. read more

Funny story. When I moved to AV about 7 months ago, I got lost (even with my phone GPS) and had driven by this park. Well, being busy with the move, work and family, I didn't remember where it was. Well, god bless the internet, because I found it again, and went back yesterday. This nice little park right by my home, has to be one of the best in OC. Small, sure, but just enough for everyone. Basketball, tennis, picnic area (shaded), little tikes area, wonderful dog area, and the cleanest restrooms I have ever seen at a park. Great job and well done, city of AV. Great large public park. Has shaded areas, tennis courts, basketball hoops, and a sandy large play space for the kids. Bridges and swings and mini house. There are areas for babies, tots, big kids and even us BIGGER kids! Great family area and tons of grass as well! read more

Nice place for kids to run and play. I like the shade; it's good for a sunny day as well as the rainy day. My kids could spend there for hours and also ride the bikes around the grass field. read more

Great little park! Shaded picnic area, tennis courts, a good size basketball court, great kids playground and bathrooms cleaner than some of my friends have! Really enjoy this park!! Also a great place to take the 4 legged friends. I let my dog run free, he loves it here too. read more

This park is spotless, has lots of grassy area (irrigated with recycled water) and paths for riding and walking. The playground is shaded. The kids are playing barefoot because I'm quite sure there is NOT glass in the sand. Lovely! Also there are bathrooms easily accessible (and visible) from the playground. read more

I love this playground! I have 3 year old twins that have a blast when we go. I love that the playground equipment is covered so there's a lot of shade. There's plenty of grass for picnics or playing kick ball. I wish the locks on the restrooms were higher bc my toddler can reach it. I would definitely recommend this park especially on a sunny day. read more

I have been coming here regularly because my boot camp classes are now being held there. The parking situation is terrible here. The parking lot is impractical, very small and always crowded - as is the park with tons of snotty kids taking tennis lessons in the afternoons. It is hard to find a spot, I see a lot of people park on the street and there are just too many kids spilling out everywhere into the tiny parking lot. Not only is it shaded, safe, constantly maintained/cleaned, but it is also likely doused with a magic friendship potion or something because I randomly met my three closest friends (and consequently my son's best friends) here! And I have other friends who have made mommy/playdate friends here as well. This is a nice little park that is just right down the street from where I live. It's a great place to take your dog because there is a huge open field that is down a hill and away from the basketball & tennis court. I always just let my dog off his leash and let him run around. There is a fence on one side, but it is not completely fenced in, so if you've got a dog that may take off, I wouldn't recommend taking him off his leash. Good place to take kids also as there is a playground, basketball court, tennis court and soccer field. read more

Only two courts, but they are super clean, well maintained, and seldom occupied. I have played there in the morning and early afternoon, and only had to wait a couple of times. The environment surrounding the courts is also very pleasant, and there is amply free parking. And of course, they are free. I'm only giving four stars because of the two courts, but other than that - it can't be beat! read more
