Beautiful new park with two play areas for younger and older kids. The park has a nice shelter for parties or eating and couple of benches scattered around the park. There are some sun shades over the equipment, but definitely not enough for 80+ degree days. There's a cute little bridge and a basketball court. The only thing I could not seem to find was a restroom. Good amount of street parking and plenty of grass areas to play or picnic. read more

Cherry Park - The road to CP, definitely needs some TLC but the park is so so good! - Playgrounds Near Me - Lake Forest, California

The park is a good size and has a lot of different climbs and activities - chimes- for different age groups. BUT there are no restrooms. There is one covered spot for a get together and I believe it is first come first serve. Maybe reservable...you'll need to check the Lake Forest City website. Only street parking, no separate parking lot. read more

Great park to play at! Very clean and lots of shade. Equipment very well maintained. Equipment for toddlers vs older children.

This is a great park for all ages. It doesn't have a parking lot or restrooms (at least no restrooms as far as I could see). There is a big play structure with lots of climbing, slides, zip lines, spinning poles and monkey bars. There's a smaller play structure for younger children with a nice disc like merry go round. The covered picnic tables are right by here to keep an easy watch. There's also a nice paved path but I'm not sure how far it goes. There is no sand or wood chips (which I prefer). It's s very nice neighborhood park. read more

Clean park with a large gazebo that we used for a birthday party. There are actually two playgrounds here - one for younger kids and one for older kids. Although there's more space in the older kids' area (plus a zip line...!), I like how the younger kids' area has a music area. Similar to xylophones or gongs with mallets. Parking is on the street. Wasn't too crowded on a Sunday! read more

Very nice, newly-renovated, awesomely-upgraded park with lots of things to do for kids different ages. I especially love the different musical instruments on the toddler side of the park. They're so cool! The only thing that I did not see there was probably a set of swings, but there was so much to do that the kids were still super happy playing at this park! I can only hope that people keep maintaining the cleanliness and the immaculacy of Cherry Park when using it, because I always hated seeing graffitis or other irresponsible things people would do at public places! Let's keep this park well maintained and clean for many years! :) read more

I cherry Park was really fun. They had a bunch of fun stuff like zip lines and etc.. They had some Spinney things and some music that you could play and there was really nice trails that you could take but I thought about the zip line that it was a bitrusty and squeaky read more

This is a really great off-leash dog park. There is a playground in the middle of it, but don't mind the kids. Most of the time they learn to stay away from you when you bring your large animals. read more

Will start by saying that the only down side to this park is a lack of a bathroom. The play equipment is awesome and feels brand new. There are lots of things to climb, instruments to play, grass to run on, etc. I also personally like that there is no sand or wood chips. I have never really seen this park crowded. I really loved this nicely shaded playground. There's a good amount of grass and trees to have a picnic and blow bubbles. I REALLY wish they had a bathroom because that cut our fun stay short bc my 4.5 year daughter had to pee. I would recommended this playground as long as you are prepared for no bathroom. read more

I love going for walks in Cherry Park. There is a large field for playing a game of soccer or football. Or some dog owners take their dogs to play fetch there. Every time I go there I see lots people with children and dogs walking on congregating on the cement path. Its centrally located between several homeowner's association and walking distance from Stater Bros. There is also a large playground with swings which takes me back to the days of my youth. In addition, there is also a half court of basketball and a volleyball net. There are paths that connect the park to the various neighborhoods or if you want to hike a nature trail in the area. The park is open from sunrise to sunset. There is a parking lot off the Cherry entrance. This park is good for birthday parties, impromptu sports games or just a romantic picnic. :-) read more

This has been the primary park I take my son because of the proximity to my home. It has a few BBQ's, some beautiful trees, playground equipment (big structure is rated for 5-12yrs, smaller structure for I believe 2-5), swings (2 infant-bucket and 2 normal), and a sand pit. It has lots of green grass and space for playing soccer or football, plus the basketball half-court. Most of the people who come through in the mornings are friendly with either a child or dog. So, with all this, why am I only rating 3 stars? Here you go: 1) No public restrooms. 2) One water fountain, which every time I've attempted to use has been clogged with sand. 3) Why did the architects decide on woodchips?! It's so much harder to keep trash out and makes cuts/scrapes on the kiddos so much harder to clean! 4) Maintenance or lack thereof. There is ALWAYS trash floating around. I could swear it's gotten worse over the last several months, but today a friend of mine borrowed my son's bucket & shovel and took around 15mins himself to pick up as much broken glass out of the woodchips as possible. 5) Would it be too much to ask for a fence & gate to be installed along Cherry? It's wide open and not unusual for people to cruise past at about 50mph, scary for kids and dogs both. Okay, so maybe I'm just irked about the glass today. But really, what happened to the maintenance? When I moved to this area close to a year and a half ago, I could swear I saw the city workers 2-3x per week. I haven't been out nearly so much in the heat, but offhand I'd say I've seen them once in the last month. Lack of bathrooms and cleanliness mean I won't be able to keep coming here much longer... read more

This used to be one of my favorite Lake Forest parks. I took my kids here when they were little at least once a week, usually more. They loved the playground equipment and the space for running around, and I liked that it was easy to watch them from the comfort of close seating. This is a good park for parties, as long as they don't go too long. No restrooms as of last time I was there. read more

Grew up next to this park. Seent many cool things happen here and great place to just kick it, this park has character haha
