I recently moved to the area and had my first car breakdown ever; accelerator stopped working. I had no idea how to get my car to a shop or what could be wrong -- I just needed to be able to commute to work hopefully soon. I tried two other shops before trying Bob's, one where I had to leave a message and they never got back to me, and another where they could only start working on my vehicle two days after it arrived. That wouldn't cut it. I was relieved to have Bob answer the phone, understand my urgency, and even have a tow truck available to pick up my car from my neighborhood lot. I was able to have my insurance arrange the delivery, though, and before the end of the day I had a diagnosis about a battery and alternator swap. The next day, the work was complete, and he offered to pick me up and bring me to his garage to fill out the paperwork. Sure enough, my car rolled up the next morning with Bob in the driver's seat. I'm so thankful to had had his open communication, professional attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for a 20-something with little vehicle expertise. Not feeling well, and as a mom that it hard on us. I went to take him out the car seat, when I realized I forgot my wallet in the car, my keys fell in the car and my son was still in the car seat, when my car locked!!! I freaked.
