My girlfriend's Buick was absolutely positively stuck in snow packed over 2" of pure ice, next to our apartment. We had tried all the tricks that I know of, being a former New Englander and dealing with this issue before. I gave up, so I called AAA and requested a driver pull the car just a few feet to get it out of the spot.
