All the automotive bays were filled and the employees were busy working with the line of cars and empty the bays. We had to wait for about 5 minutes for someone to come and assist us they quickly were able to fix the problem and a loud my friend who was driving to Double check the work. We appreciated that. Since it was a tire, that needed looking after. After we visited the automotive part of the store we parked out front saw a buggy I went to use and thank heaven my friend was there to help push me in the store. We saw a greeter and told them that the buggy was very low on battery and needed to be plugged in. We went to use our respective restrooms. I pleasantly surprised how clean smelling the bathroom was and each of the stalls were. Ie: the floors were clean of trash, toilets clean on the inside and outside bag hooks in each stall area were clean. The only complaint I have is that I have to use the larger stall and the bag hook was on the stall door. I had to bring my bag with me to the toilet because of my disabilities. After I used the my bag there was no place placed for me to hang it up or set down except on the ground of the stall. Which I didn't feel comfortable with doing.do I held onto it while using the toilet. It would be very helpful for someone with my disabilities and have a hook or a shelf near the toilet to set my bag on in arms reach of the toilet. As we were leaving the greater said thank you for visiting and hoped we had a good rest of the day.

This rests on the shoulders of the store manager, Wendy, who not only tolerates this attitude from her employees, but leads by example... Of how you DO NOT treat patrons. No smile, and no introduction. Just an expression of a nasty attitude on her face. Her assistant manager acts exactly the same way, which is how I ended up speaking with her. Absolute F in customer service for both, with no exaggeration. Wendy will stare at you and say absolutely nothing when serious customer service issues are brought to her attention, then lie to you and say how she is sorry about your problem without the slightest furrowing of the brow. Professional lie detectors abhor this two-faced behavior, and Wendy is a textbook example. Absurdly rude attitudes coated with false apologies permeate the employees and management, complete with blame-shifting and outright abusive and intimidating behavior towards customers for their own pleasure and validation. You will not be treated with respect here. This store desperately needs new management. This is one of the lowest customer service scores I have ever seen, and I have prepared professional QSC reports for marketing for over 30 years. Lines for regular checkout are not reasonable, and the store staff will get nasty with you if you have a couple items over 15 in self checkout, even with many self check stands open. Staff run checkouts can be over 30 minutes long on a regular basis. The staff member running the self checkout was extremely rude, pointing to a 15 items or less sign in a snotty way and saying nothing, with 6/8 self-checkouts open halfway through checking out. Management blames their customers for the issues they cause themselves by having unreasonable wait times for regular checkouts, and escalate issues with their customers rather than de-escalate them when patrons bring legitimate issues to their attention. You will not feel welcome or a valued customer dealing with a management staff that acts this unprofessional when interacting with reasonable patrons. Shame on you winco management. You are a shining example of what not to do. From reading the other reviews here, it is clear you have a repeating customer service failure regarding your employees having a nasty attitude with customers, particularly in self checkout, and allow this to continue on a regular basis despite you being notified multiple times. Since management is engaging in this same behavior themselves, the cause of the customer service failure is far from being a mystery.

Bakery, deli, sushi, pharmacy, clothing, toys, video/electronics, books, grocery of all kinds, flowers, etc. They have a very nice Clearance section as well - we found some gifts in that area at terrific prices. All of the employees we spoke to were friendly and helpful. They honor Fry's Rewards which we have from living in Arizona and shopping at their sister stores.

Prices can be better but if you would have to run elsewhere we are talking Poky to save few dollars you are still wasting time, plus they also have some seasonal coupons etc. I do believe they have few bugs to work out and to correct, but shopping experiences recently greatly improved due to new stores coming to town. One may not remember but long time ago we had 2 grocery stores here in American Falls and healthy competition never hurts. So overall I am very grateful it is like we got another free gift this Holiday Season.
