He just gets it done, period. He's been managing my Air b and b Property while I've been away, inside and out, and dealing with the clients. I don't have one single worry with him there. It's all taken care of, right down to watering the plant in the corner, or finding a dangerous slippery stone or something or other on the path. The next day: 'oh, I think they were all picked up (looking out my window, I must disagree) Following day: 'for sure today. We're really busy (clearly not with the rental side of the business) 10 AM Day four: 'it will absolutely be picked up today'. 3PM Day four: (out running errands before guests arrive) 'we have picked it up' 5PM Day four: ummm, so it's still here 'oh, yes. Our truck broke down, we'll get it tomorrow' Day five: arrive home 2PM. You'll never guess. 'We had an emergency and our technician was called out. Crickets.... Any suggestions on removal of an abandoned portapotty are most welcome.

When I called the office ahead of time, at the beginning of September, 2023, I had requested that…read morethe tub drain be unclogged, and a new drain cover be installed. I explained to the woman on the phone that I wanted the drain cover (Turn and Lock) replaced with a new one or a trip-lever and strainer cover. What we were left with was a broken tub cover, nothing replaced. See attached tub photos. The plumbers who worked on the job said they had to "order a new part." Additionally, my husband asked them to look at the upstairs small bath and small kitchen faucets for water pressure issues. What we got were two aerators removed and nothing replaced. And now the bathroom faucet leaks because something broke off when they removed the aerator. See Attached Sink Faucet Photo. I called the office on 25 September 2023 to inquire about this unfinished job and the status of the part on order. I was told by the man that answered that he was busy and would call me back. That never happened. So now I have had to hire someone else to complete the job, a new tub cover and a new sink faucet. This is disappointing - to use a term that is as polite as I can get. I don't know who they sent, and I don't know who took the original request for service, and I don't know who answered the phone and told me he was too busy and never called back, but I see this as a serious customer service issue.

We all slammed on our breaks to a complete stop. Car behind me had to come up on my side to avoid slamming into me. A friend called her plumber contact on Sunday who was away, but was able to get me in contact with Jacob Grout on Sunday morning. Jacob called me back and came out on Sunday to look at the issue. He quickly diagnosed the situation and as there was a way to use water without a further leak, he picked up the replacement part Monday and came right over to fix it. He's friendly, professional, and very reasonably priced. In addition to plumbing emergencies, he does boiler replacements, emergency services, installs everything from old-school boilers to the latest heat pumps, from radiant flooring to steam radiators.
