Driving through Michigan we decided to try something different than our standard sub shop. So pizza it was, we ordered the Greek salad and breadsticks! First of the salad was HUGE and the dressing was delicious! Second we ordered "dry" breadsticks and they were perfect! Infact the salad came with a couple breadsticks as well and they even made those dry!! Third, the pizza sauce we got with the breadsticks was piping hot! Win all the way around. When we picked up our order we asked for some Parmesan cheese packets and they gladly filled two plastic containers for us and also made sure we had to go silverware. I took a quick peek at the restaurant and it has a very cozy welcoming atmosphere! Definitely going to add this little pizza joint to our list of places to stop when passing through Charlotte. My husband & I split a calzone with cheese, pepperoni, sausage, onion. It was amazing and so big. Probably the best i have ever had. Oh and we each had a salad that was good and way to large to eat it all. The couple with us had lasagna & a bacon, lettuce & tomato sub and the table split a serving of bread sticks. Charlotte doesn't have a lot of choices for food ... this is one of the better ones. The pizza is good but not the best, the breadsticks make up for it. Was told that the men's bathroom is super sketchy (women bathroom was fine) and waitstaff wasn't super friendly but honestly none of that mattered once we got our food. Tonight my boyfriend and I were on our way back from Hastings to Lansing and decided to make a pot stop in Charlotte for a drink and a bite. We are so glad we did. I wish I could give a zero. This was the first time my fiancé and two friends have dared to eat out. We got there and there was no wait so we asked how we got a seat outside in the tent and the server ignored us so we asked again. She finally handed us menus and we started to look and she rudely said "you can't look at those in here, no guests allowed to wait inside" I said no problem and walked out to the tent and claimed an open table. We let the server know we had the rest of our party coming (5 people total) and texted our friends where we were. When our friends got there they told them they were with us and they tried to kick them out for walking to to the tent. Then the server refused to give them menus or serve them (not us though). Another server was sent out to help us and we thought all was good. Then all of a sudden their regulars started standing in the tent (which at this point is at capacity) drinking, smoking and going in and out of the building with no mask. I felt so uncomfortable that I stopped eating and put my mask back on and let our server know. As we were finishing up the other guests in the tent left and all of a sudden about 8 people flooded in, not distancing and all lighting up cigarettes. We decided to leave at that point. As we went to go inside to leave there was a line of at least 15 people, most without masks, drinking at the bar and the rude waitress had her mask pulled below her chin helping people. Also on another note...no one ever came out to clean or disinfect anything when the other guests left. For your own safety please go somewhere else. read more

More than once I've gone in and sat down for 10 minutes or more and not had anyone acknowledge me to take an order. The owner walked by multiple times this time and never did anything. I won't be going back again and hope others do the same. Customer service is the cornerstone of a good business and they don't have it. Great pizza, friendly fast service. We're just swinging through town and wanted an easy pizza option that would be delicious, and this fit the bill. Homemade dough made fresh daily sounded like a great start. We created our own topping combination list (red pepper, green olive, green pepper, pepperoni) and when I called I asked if they had other types of cheeses by chance - and they had feta on hand to put on the pie though it wasn't in their website list of toppings. So it is worth asking if you're interested in something specific. The cheese and crust were great, and this was not a super greasy pizza, which we were pleased with. A big plus for our family sharing a large 16" pizza was that they cut it up into small wedges, I think 12 total, so it was much easier to eat than if the slices were huge. Recommended! read more

While in Michigan I checked into a hotel in Charlotte. Generally I look ahead at my schedule and see if there's good food in the area so I didn't really know this area at all. Being from Chicago I had a taste for some deep dish pizza. The lady at the front desk of the hotel I was at said try Riedy's. I ordered the Chicago deep dish with sausage onions green olives and tomatoes. I had it delivered. They said it would take 45 minutes, it was probably a little bit under 45 minutes. When I open the pizza the sad thing nobody ever wants to see when they open their pizza, the ingredients had slid to one side! I thought no worries I will start eating the side with all the ingredients and it's like getting extra ingredients on half the pizza! The pizza that was incredible! It was exactly a Chicago style deep dish pizza outside of Chicago! After eating half the pizza I realized there are no green olives on the pizza. I thought this pizza is so good that I didn't want to complain about it, but I thought I should call the manager and let him know what had happened and I did. I said don't come down hard on the delivery person, the ingredients slid all to the side and you forgot the green olives. He said he would have a talk with the delivery person and how to properly handle a hot pizza with melted cheese and then he would have a talk with his kitchen to make sure they put on the proper ingredients. Bottom line, I am satisfied with that. This is probably a single incident I would still order pizza when in the area again because they're so damn good! read more

My expectations were not high. Not even an Italian name. BUT, the pizza was fabulous! I would rank it in my top three EVER. (The other two being an interesting, small up-scale restaurant on 7th Avenue in NYC, and an unassuming neighborhood eatery in Naples, Italy.) Ordered from Reidy's for lunch today while at work. The food arrived very quickly and was hot. I ordered the Steak Gorgonzola and was sadly disappointed. The steak was cooked perfectly at Medium well but the sauce was very bland. It had no flavor and was almost like paste. Would not recommend this dish. We came on the first night to enjoy a meal inside after everything opening after quarantine. The waitress was EXTREMELY rude. My boyfriend and I were very polite as we knew she was probably overwhelmed, but from the very beginning she was rude, judgemental, and unpleasant to deal with. After ordering our food the same waitress got in an altercation with a customer, and started yelling the F-bomb in front of the whole restaurant at the customer. It made for a very uncomfortable experience and multiple tables left. Like I said we gave her the benefit of the doubt given the circumstances, but if you're that miserable to be working, maybe customer service isn't for you. I will not be returning! I got chicken Alfredo and my boyfriend got the brisket sandwich. The Alfredo sauce was pretty good, it did taste homemade, but the chicken was the worst. I've had better chicken at McDonald's. It was just so over cooked and it's $3 to add chicken. My boyfriends brisket was dry and tough. Their bread sticks are ohkay, also had better at other places. Our waitress wasn't attentive as she should have been as we were the only costumers their. Our total was about $40, which isn't bad for 3 alcohol beverages and decent portion sizes. We ate on the bar side. No a/c so it was quite warm and a little uncomfortable. Service was so-so but it was a holiday (labor day) weekend so maybe that is why. This was my first time ordering from this place and the first sign I knew it wasn't going to be a very good experience is when I called to make an order, the young lady was very rude and short with me. When I got my food, it definitely wasn't what I had ordered on their menu because it was missing like 5 ingredients which was the wet burrito with all of the condiments and shredded lettuce, I received a wet burrito with a ton of sauce which I asked for light sauce, no shredded lettuce, no olives, no sour cream, nothing but a tortilla shell, meat , cheese and sauce and I paid $14.00 even left a $3.00 tip. Looking for pizza for large party and wanted to test. Heard they had good food. The table was dirty, had a big hair on it with other debris. Wasn't very busy, at 6:15pm and took a long time to just to get acknowledged. The waiter, Josh, forgot to bring drinks and had to remind him. The garlic bread was a bun with butter and cheese, not much flavor. After we got the pizza we never saw Josh again and thought they closed up and went home. First time going here and I ordered online for pickup. It said it would be ready in 30-40 min. got there 40 min later to tell me they just put my order in, so I sat for 35 min waiting. I can handle the wait, because I don't know if something like this is normal, but 35 min gave me a while to sit and look at this place. While it looks ok on the surface(clean floors and tables), if you look close this place does not pay attention to detail. It had a feel of possibly getting renovated but no actual work being done on the place. The three big lights hanging over a few tables were caked in dust and you can tell have not been wiped down in a long time. If you come here I would avoid sitting under those. I didn't make it over to the bar side, so I cannot talk much on it. There is a speaker being propped up by a few dinner plates, a painted piece of wood would look better than a bunch of plates. I watched as most of the staff seemed confused about lot of stuff and it was not busy at all. I saw what looked to be 2 owners and/or managers walk around eating plates of spaghetti and it just seemed a bit strange. No one ever actually apologized for taking over an hour for my food. I could see under the booths and you can tell they sweep under it as far as the broom allows because it was very dusty toward the walls. It just seems like this place takes a lot of shortcuts on the appearance that I actually worry about what shortcuts they may take in the kitchen. The food was ok, but everything else made me scared to ever come back to this place. I am actually disappointed because Charlotte already is lacking in restaurants and I want every restaurant to succeeded in our town, but this place needs more care to have me come back. read more

Their Hawaiian pizza They have some amazing signature pizzas. Our families two personal favorites are, the Mighty Meaty (meat lovers) and Hawaiian pizza. The Hawaiian had fresh pineapple, cherries, sliced almonds, and ham. By far the best take on a Hawaiian pizza I've every had. Everything else there, is just as good. Wait time is about average and the inside could be taken kinda shady at times, but the restaurant is split in two halfs. One half is the main restaurant and the other has a bar, so it's a little noisy as times, but overall it's a great place for pizza. read more
