When it came time to use them to help with my own Mom (a person with excellent insurance), I was told the did not want to contract with my Moms insurer. They never said no, they said they didn't feel like doing a contract and this is despite doing contract with many other people. They would not even call my Moms insurance agent. The insurance agent would have paid 100 percent of the doctors orders and her care was not complicated. Instead I was told they would be happy to help my Mom if I paid for the nurse, home health aide, the physical occupational therapist and the speech therapist with cash. So it doesn't matter how good you have been to a company over the years. To Bayada all they care about is your money.

All…read moreI thought about was he would not want to be in the hospital without me or his daughter by his side. I contacted Bayada. Wendy coordinated everything in a few hours. My husband was home by dinner time. Sal the nurse was so helpful and caring. He explained everything we needed to do to keep my husband comfortable. It was such a stormy night and I was able to have the priest from St. Mary of the Pines come for his last rights. Just in case. His daughter & I were able to spend the night by his side with a couple of friends & family . I think knowing he was back home made all the difference. He was finally able to let go. He passed away by 8 am the next day. If it was not for Bayada he may not have made it home. Sal came back the very next day. We could not have gotten through this ordeal had it not been for everyone working together with Bayada. Thank you all and God Bless you all.

Sean Herron my PT is fantastic. Good guy, good listener, and knows his stuff. The other PT there whom I worked with a little is named George. He's a good man and a skilled therapist. Sean and George did a little tag team when the place was busy. They did it quite well. These guys are good communicators, smart, funny, interesting, and motivated. In the front office a woman named Beth made me feel welcome every visit. The place is clean, organized, and well equipped. This was my first PT experience. JAG-ONE was a huge help and made a real good impression. Highly recommended.

My mother is a patient in this facility. While the staff is polite and considerate the food is…read moreoften cold as well as very limited. She received one hard boiled egg and one piece of cold sausage for breakfast. She received one stuffed shell and a small dinner roll for a dinner. Often times they are 'out of coffee', or 'out of plastic ware', as well as other random food items. She sends me pictures of her meals sometimes and I understand why she complains about it. Yuk. Also, 4 patients share one bathroom. That is expecting a lot from mostly elderly patients with overactive bladders and extended bathroom time to clean up after an accident. The underbed tables look like they were from the 80's and had heavy rust and grime on them. The pictures shown of the patient rooms do not look anything like my mother's room, which is ugly and dingy. Fortunately the staff, including Physical Therapists, technicians and housekeeping are friendly and professional. Otherwise this is more like a prison.

I found Dr Herman to be very business like and not personable or accommodating. When you need to talk to someone at this Marmora office you have to go through a call center which screens the reason for you calling and then a Nurse or another office representative calls you back after they discussed why you called with Dr. I found this unacceptable and less productive. They do not allow you to switch to another Dr in practice since I was told that it's not their policy to do so unless you wait a few months until there is an opening. For these reasons I do not recommend this practice for senior citizens as they treat you like a number instead of a patient with appropriate needs
