His number was working when we booked it and this morning it was disconnected. Based on recent reviews, he is doing this now to everyone. These guys are great on the boat but unfortunately not at handling business anymore. I was booked on this boat with a friend. 1 hour prior I looked and no one else was booked and they hadn't contacted me to cancel. I called 3x and finally reached someone who told me given that only 2 of us were booked, the boat would be canceled and I would be refunded (which was totally fine and given that I've been going out with these guys for years I expected it and knew to look - someone new to right hook may have not checked and gone to the boat which would have been frustrating). Either way, I've now contacted right hook several times and never received my refund. After two months I've now disputed the charge with Amex. Really a shame. read more

**Beware Scammer** Booked a trip online with this captain and I received a text from him that the trip was cancelled. He offered to refund the money but never refunded the money. After not being able to get in contact with him and seeing 'read' indication on any text messages I disputed the credit card charge. This captain sent in some bogus cancellation policy back to dispute the chargeback. He has scammed me out of $85. What is upsetting about this is that he's actually taking the time to rebut the chargeback to scam customers. The recent reviews on here and other platforms show multiple people have been scammed as well. read more

Worth every dime...we had Mike and Josh for a crew...we had the perfect day...they worked hard to keep our lines baited and get the fish off the hook and get back into the action....very personable and made my buddy and I feel comfortable right away....its nice they have a ax so you always have plenty of room on the boat....just remember to bring gour own food and drink and a large cooler to bring the fish home. read more

We have been on this boat several times. But today's trip was such a huge disappointment. We arrived on time waited around for someone to tell us what was going on, we were told the head was broken so if you need to use facility oh well.We finally leave the dock only to go 3min across the way to get gas & evidently pick up the Captain. We finally get underway well after 8am, supposed to leave at 7am, when we see them scrambling to get the bait ready, there was some rumblings of they had a night trip so they could not get gas or something. We caught a few keepers but guess the markings were not noted & we lost our fish and they gave to other people from the trip. The boat used to be kept well but it was a mess. Now I know why they had availability when everyone was booked. What a shame, I hate to give negative review but just too much to ignore:( read more

I chartered the boat for 5 of us including my almost 92 year old dad. We had such a great time. We were lucky with the weather and our captains Ricky and Dan were the best. Their attention to all of us, but most importantly my dad, was outstanding. The knew their stuff for sure and I do not think it would have been as fun without them. read more

These guys are epic! I got to bring and use my own gear, to me that is a bonus. The captain and mate were both polite, funny, playful, and were eager to help. It was not overloaded like other charters that I have been on in the past. Also unlike other charters that I have been on recently, the mate on this charter was eager to help and was not sarcastic or rude like I have experienced on other vessels. The best part was we got put on some fish and caught it a very nice Mutton Snapper! I will definitely be seeing these gentleman again! The day that we went out the swells were very high, so I was sick the whole time and my son was sick most of the time, making for a miserable trip. When I told my story later to locals they said that it was obvious that the swells would be high because of a coming storm. I would expect a company that does charters for a living to give us a heads up so we could either change when we went or take something against motion sickness. read more

We had a private charter with Mike and Max with our family of 6 adults and a 2-year old, and the charter was perfect! Mike (captain/owner) and Max were both extremely friendly, talkative, and helpful in getting everyone to have fun and be successful in fishing. We caught plenty of fish, and were well taken care of the entire time. They kept up constantly baiting hooks for the 6 of us, helping pull in the fish we caught, getting good pictures, and helping with tangled lines etc. They provided waters, but we also brought our own cooler and snacks (recommended!) and they were very accommodating. Overall an excellent experience; no fishing experience required. You just have to put the baited hook in the water and then reel it in and they'll handle the rest. They cleaned and filleted the fish when we got back and put them in bags by type of fish, and we all enjoyed eating our catch! Highly recommend Captain Mike! read more

My Fiance and I had always wanted to go fishing and we had to be in West Palm Beach for work, so we looked for a place to do it here. We found Right Hook through TripAdvisor and we decided to give them a chance and we are soooo glad we did! It's always a gamble with things like this, but I tell you - not only would we do it again, but we would always choose Right Hook as our Fishing Charter. I highly recommend them. The boat was super clean and big. Capt. Mike and his First Mate Robert were amazing! They made us feel safe, welcomed and made sure we all had a great time. We did the 5-9pm trip this last Sunday (8/21/16) and it was the best time. The water was so clear, we saw jelly fish and all kinds of stuff. Everyone on the boat caught something (we caught about 8 fish, but some where too small or not very tasty to keep so we just threw them back, we left with 4 - 2 Mangrove Snappers, 1 Grunt Fish and 1 Yellowtail). One guy caught a 33in giant snapper, it was pretty cool! Capt. Mike and Robert were so patient and attentive and made us feel right at home by learning all of our names and talking to us like we were all old buddies, really made the experience so much better. We are already planning our next trip to do it again!! Seriously recommend this place - you will not be disappointed! read more
