We paid a $400 deposit for DJ services for our August event. The contract says the deposit is refundable before the event, but the company stopped responding. We emailed three times over a month, contacted them on Facebook, and called several times. We only received vague answers and now no response at all. Very disappointing communication. read more

Dear Austin, You have stopped responding to my emails and will not answer any phone calls. I am writing again to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the service provided by Right Price Entertainment LLC for our wedding on October 18, 2025. The experience we had with your company fell far below the professional standard that was promised, and it significantly impacted what should have been one of the happiest days of our lives. From the beginning, communication with your company was extremely poor. Our phone calls went unanswered, and we were told that texting or email was the best way to reach you, yet even those messages often went without response. We only heard back from you after contacting your aunt, and frankly, we are not confident that you would have responded, or even shown up to our wedding had we not taken that step. We eventually had a Zoom call with Brooklyn to review every detail: the playlist, walk-out songs, and the overall timing of the evening. The very next day, we were informed she was no longer our DJ and that "Stephanie" would be taking over. We were told she had been briefed and that I would be provided with her contact information, but I never received any follow-up or communication from her. When we arrived at our wedding, our planner immediately informed us that the DJ on site had no idea what to play and had to be told what to do. This dj was not "Stephanie" but a man we were unfamiliar with. When we introduced ourselves, he explained that he had been "begging for information from Austin for 48 hours" and had received nothing. He also told us that he was never sent our playlists or any of the event details we had prepared. As a result, we had to write everything down for him right before our grand entrance, and our wedding planner had to handwrite a script for him so he could make announcements. Adding to this disappointment, the $200 dance floor we paid for was never delivered or set up. This was part of our agreed-upon service and was a significant feature of our reception. Your company's lack of preparation, organization, and communication caused immense stress during what should have been a seamless and joyful celebration. The confusion and frustration that night led to unnecessary tension and even a serious argument between my husband and me--something no couple should have to experience on their wedding day. Given these issues, including the undelivered dance floor and the overall failure to deliver the professional service we contracted for, I am requesting a refund and a formal acknowledgment of these concerns. read more

DO NOT BOOK Right Price Entertainment for DJ services. I booked Austin Price, of Right Price Entertainment, to be our DJ on our wedding day in Detroit. I worked for months on the perfect spreadsheet, playlist, and instructions for him. Music is such an insanely important part of my life, and I put my trust in him to deliver the services promised for our wedding. I met with him one week prior to review the details, my spreadsheet, and discussed specific instructions on where to set up. When I initially booked him, I let him know that the MOST IMPORTANT aspect for us was to have two speakers, on two patios, playing the same music throughout the venue. Upon booking him, he said that would be no problem. After our final meeting, he said it may be a challenge and I owed him an additional $300 for another set up. At that point.. whatever. It was a week away and having that second setup was so important to us, so I paid it. Cut to the day of the wedding. The coordinator at the venue comes to me once I arrived saying "there's a problem with the DJ". Austin.... Nowhere to be found. He sent someone else from another company. This poor man was so sweet, but he had ZERO instruction. He was setting up on the wrong patio (he needed to be where the ceremony was about to be held), and he was totally lost. While I was supposed to be walking down the aisle, I was in the bathroom with the coordinator creating a playlist on Spotify for this man to play. Then I guess at some point, he got some sort of list from Austin.... I very specifically wanted PIANO COVERS of emo/punk songs. This DJ only got song titles... so he started playing the actual songs. Some of them, pretty heavy on the so not very wedding like.. at all. My guests got a real kick out of it, but I was so embarrassed. This DJ who came in Austin's place said he was hired two days prior, and was so frazzled and just didn't know what was going on. I am not upset with him AT ALL. He was so sweet and did his best with what info he had and I honestly felt so bad for him. He seemed so upset and overwhelmed all night, and continuously apologized. At this point, I have emailed Austin twice asking for an explanation. I also believe I am entitled to reimbursement for the second set up I paid additional for, and never received. The songs I requested after having planned them out for months were not played. It just killed the whole vibe for me and it took away from so much of my day. Hi Austin, I have left you a voicemail but am following up via email as well. I hope you're doing well. My name is Holly Groh, and I had the honor of serving as the Maid of Honor and wedding coordinator for the Piepkow wedding in Olivet, MI, this past Saturday, September 27, 2025. I want to begin by saying that we had high hopes for working with your company, and we know weddings can sometimes come with unexpected challenges. That said, I do need to share our sincere disappointment with the DJ services provided, as the experience fell far short of what was promised and appropriate for such an important occasion. Unfortunately, the problems began with the DJ arriving at 4:10 pm,well after the contracted time and after the ceremony had already begun. While we understand that traffic can sometimes be unpredictable, part of professional responsibility is allowing ample travel time to account for such delays. When we spoke that day, it was stated he was ten minutes away, when in fact he ended up being further out, further compounding the issue. As a result, the bridal party, including the bride and groom, were forced to walk down the aisle in silence, and the pastor was left without a microphone to deliver the ceremony outdoors. This was not only disappointing but also extremely disruptive to such a meaningful moment. We had hoped things would improve after this, but additional issues continued throughout the evening: DJ arrived late (4:10 pm) despite being contracted to arrive no later than 3:00 pm. Ceremony services were paid for but not delivered. Arrived completely unprofessional in appearance and demeanor and also brought his girlfriend not dressed appropriately for a wedding. Once set up, he ignored the provided notes and played inappropriate "club rap" music for cocktail hour. This had to be addressed immediately, both to lower the volume and to correct the style of music. In fact, I ultimately had to connect my own phone via Bluetooth to his speaker system in order to provide the proper music for the social hour. He frequently left his station for smoke breaks, while both he and his girlfriend (who was not part of the event) repeatedly helped themselves to the reception bar and liquor bottles. Guests reported that he asked them for cigarettes, and I later witnessed him smoking and getting high during the event, behavior entirely unacceptable for someone on duty. The bridal party entrance was mishandled despite receiving clear communication about names and order. His equipment did not function properly: the microphone only worked within a small range near the booth, creating significant difficulties for speeches and prayers. A large, detailed list of requested songs was provided but largely ignored unless specifically asked for. Even then, songs were often cut short or awkwardly mixed as though it were a nightclub, disappointing many guests. Music volume was consistently far too loud for the space. Despite repeated requests to turn it down, the issue persisted throughout the night. He had a negative altercation with a guest who requested a song to be played and to be played in full. Instead of handling it professionally, he cut the music, turned away, and ignored the guest. It is also important to note that this was a very large event with nearly 230 guests in attendance. The DJ's lack of preparation and professionalism was not only disruptive to the flow of the evening but also highly visible to a large audience of family and friends, many of whom voiced their disappointment. Taken together, these behaviors and failures not only reflect a lack of professionalism but also caused significant disruption and disappointment at what should have been a joyful celebration. Given the severity of the issues, the unprofessional conduct, and the fact that contracted services were not delivered as promised, we are requesting a full refund. We truly wish this had been a better experience, and I hope you can appreciate how difficult this was for the couple and their families. DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY. They completely ruined my Sweet 16 by not showing up to my party after being fully paid in advance. We confirmed everything multiple times and they STILL didn't bother to show up -- no warning, no explanation, NOTHING. When we reached out, they lied and gave excuse after excuse. Then, as soon as we asked for a refund, they completely ghosted us and stopped replying to every message and call. This is beyond unprofessional -- it's scam behavior. Honestly, didn't even want to give them a star at all. My daughter's wedding at our farm. Completely unprepared and a person, completely unfamiliar was sent to DJ without any notice to us. Nothing was prepared, no songs downloaded or even a note of the songs my daughter and Groom had picked and sent back to the contact person. She had limited knowledge of how to work the equipment and was even dressed in workout attire. Was very uncomfortable using the microphone. We did feel bad for her as she said, "my boss sent me with a list of what I needed" We asked why he didn't come himself as he had told my daughter he would. She had no explanation. The groom, my son-in-law called after the wedding to express his dissatisfaction with the entire music setup and was told he was being recorded on the phone call, which is fine, but the gentleman, (owner we believe or were told) claimed no remorse or explanation. Pretty much just threw the woman he sent to the wedding, under the bus. Saying she should have been prepared. We asked for compensation, as the entire wedding playlist was incorrect and not played at all when it should have been or even having the songs available. We did indicate to him that we had the entire wedding on video and all the mistakes were well documented. He declined a refund of any kind and said would get back to us after he spoke to the woman he sent to the wedding. That was Oct. 2023 and we have yet hear a word from him.
