Very impressive customer service. The work was immaculate and the follow up was equally impressive. Jack (owner) communicated with me at first in person, on my property, followed by a quote the next day and then a couple of days before the job was to commence and once during wrap up. The final call was to collect a balance and he waited two weeks before doing that. There were several texts send by me; ie these guys are great etc. He did not appear to be bottom line driven but with his focus on my satisfaction. Of course all business owner want to get paid but that never felt like his priority. It's an art to make a client feel the way I did upon completion. Well done! For the reviews that discuss quotes and didn't select them, the cheap comes out expensive. I would expect most painters to have similar quotes and recommend getting 2 or 3 but paying a bit more for a great job done quickly, that's a no brainer to me. fyi; NEVER accept the cheapest quote and there's a subtle art to a contract negotiation. Don't play games and say what your budget is up front. It makes things go smoothly from the start and the business owner will appreciate your forthrightness. The company will say yes, no or counter. My house looks amazing and that was my #1 goal. It's important to mention that I took a bit too long responding as I am a very busy guy who travels a ton. Second house is my fathers, due to his age and limitations his home, specifically a large deck outside, had become covered in slick moss/algae looking "stuff." Again Savage Painting came when we called and pressure washed and re stained the deck leaving a safe environment for my father to go back outside without fear of falling. Third home in Concord. After calling for other bids (I had no idea Savage was so close to this home and I originally thought it would be out of their area) I called up Shawn and asked if he could help me on a home in Concord. Shawn immediately let me know he would help and headed over within two days to draw up the bid. I should mention this home was left to me by a man that was a second father to me and a mentor. My emotions are pretty high when dealing with this home as I didn't want to change a lot. However, 20 years of smoke damage from smoking in the home, roof leaks and staining etc. demanded that we take action. Shawn gave us a great competitive bid and his attention to detail is impeccable. My experience with Action Painting Pros was extremely disappointing and my recommendation is to…read morestay away from this company. This company was hired through my HOA to perform an exterior siding repair, so I did not choose them directly. From the beginning, communication was poor. I was never given a schedule or notice of when the work would occur--the crew simply showed up unannounced one day and completed the job without any prior coordination. After the initial repair was finished, I discovered visible daylight coming through the wall from the interior, which made it clear the work was not done properly. Additionally, black sheet plastic was used a barrier under the siding, which prevents moisture for exiting the interior and is likely to cause water damage over the long term. I raised these this immediately as a workmanship issue. Rather than acknowledging the problem, Jennifer (the owner) suggested to my HOA that I was asking for "upgrades" and trying to expand the scope of work, even though I was only asking for the original repair to be completed correctly. Before the company returned, I explained my concerns in detail--both to the worker on site and directly to Jennifer--including concerns about the materials used and the lack of a proper weather-resistive barrier. Despite that, the follow-up visit did not correct the exterior repair. Instead, the crew simply applied interior spray foam to cover the gaps. This addressed the symptom (daylight) but not the underlying problem. Getting any meaningful follow-up was very difficult. I was ghosted by Jennifer after raising legitimate issues about the quality of the work. I had to resurface the issue through my HOA. Jennifer's contact is the only one listed on the company website, so if an issue arises and she ignores you, you have no recourse. Other reviewers have also reported being 'ghosted' by Jennifer. Overall, the quality of the workmanship was extremely poor and my recommendation is to stay away from this company. This recommendation is further supported by the observed poor communication, unannounced scheduling, dismissive responses to workmanship concerns, and an inadequate corrective repair. I have no confidence in the quality of the job. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this company.

I was very pleased that the 3 man crew came for 2 full days and did a great job. They even move furniture and pictures, put it all back when done and cleaned up after their work. I would definitely use them again.
