Moving sucks. Period…read more We used this service when we moved from Florida to Connecticut. We ordered their largest container which was 16 ft. This was designed to be able to fit the contents of about a 1200 sq. ft. home. Requesting a quote and for the pod to be delivered was easy and can be done on their website; the customer service hotline can be called also. The truck dropped the pod off and we had a few days to load it. We scheduled a date for pickup; from drop off to pickup, they were prompt both times. They also give us a call when they're on their way. It's pretty awesome seeing how they move the pod on and off the truck too; the truck has a lift that is specialized to pick up the pod. Once we got to Connecticut, the pod was dropped off the next day; customer service was great. Overall, it was a seamless process and made moving 1,300 miles, a little less stressful; wished we used them the first time we moved from New England to Florida!

I have been trying for over a month to transfer a POD onto my account from my contractor's. (this…read moreis FL and it is our property post hurricanes Helene and Milton). BTW the contractor is very willing to do what he needs to in order to get this accomplished. I have set up an account with PODS to transfer this POD onto, I have shared a transfer of ownership form with the contractor and was advised to call a help line and have this transfer finalized. When I call INDIA (help line), they tell me this cannot be done. I ask for clarification why, since I have had 2 local PODS employees say it can be and they used to do it all the time before the call centers moved overseas and their authorities changed. I have literally spent over 10 hours!!! on the phone between various individuals, many of it on a 3 way call with the contractor giving his authorization to transfer this to my account. Please help!
